I had reached out to several companies to extend baseboard forced hot water heat to our new 16x16 addition(just along two walls.) We chose southern NH (based in Londonderry NH) based on how professional we felt they were when we first met them as well as their reviews on google. The day the baseboard was installed they ran a test by running the water through the lines to ensure the heat was working as it should. When doing this they had a hose hooked up to our furnace. All was working correctly on the baseboard so they left. The next morning my husband realized after hearing a drip coming from our downstairs they did not disconnect the hose which caused our furnace to leak all over our floor causing water damage on the walls. Southern requested photos which I sent over, they agreed there was an error made by their employer and they had sent out a tech that day to remove the line. They also sent a gentleman from serve pro to assist with the water damage. I ran a high industrial fan for 4 straight days. When the gentleman returned he informed me the water damage was still present and the wall would need to be replaced in order to avoid a mold problem. Southern told me they could do this themselves ( At this point I had lost all faith in this company so I said no) They then throw out a low ball number to have the walls repaired and when I asked them how they got that number they had no answer. They asked me to get my own quotes which I did. Both quotes came back from $400-$500. Southern agreed to refund the larger amount but requested I sent them an invoice. Which I did not agree to. I also informed southern that the lines were still making a "popping sound from air being in the lines" They sent someone out to fix (but the sound is still happening) Fast forward a few months and the baseboard is still making the popping sound from air being in the lines. I called Monday 1/19 left a voicemail and no one returned my phone call. I called again 12/20 which the woman answered the phone and told me they are not longer doing business with me. I said that is fine but my baseboard is still not installed correctly. She then transferred me to someones voicemail and we are going on 2 days without a call back.
