I started to see someone for counseling on JUne 1, 2023. For a total of 5 visit. June 15, 29, then July 13 and 20thth. At no time did I get a bill or was charged a copay. On my to my last visit I was told that they had a problem with billing. I was told that payment was denied. I said I would make calls. I called Medicare and was told that my second insurance was responsible. I called United Health Care and they told me they never called or got a bill from CCS. We'll I'm trying to get this corrected, I check out checking account and $200. was taken to pay CCS. I never authorized that payment to CCs and I never gave DCU permission to pay them. Next thing I know another $329.20 is paid to CCS from my account. I filed a complaint with DCU and closed my credit card on both of them. The bank tell me I need proof of payment. This is why they paid the bill. Now to be honest with you, at no time did I receive a bill from CCS, until after I filed my complaint. DCU taking the money from my account caused me to be overdrawn twice. Thankfully my partner helped me cover this. I am in the process of filing a complaint with DCU about this whole situation. I have also tried to call CCS and get no where with that. United Health Care is looking into this. My reference # with them is **********.

      Hi ********,

Firstly, I want to express our sincere apologies that your experience with us was not up to the exceptional standard we always strive for. We deeply value each of our clients, and our ultimate goal is to ensure your satisfaction and trust in our services.

Regarding the insurance matter, we understand how frustrating it can be when insurance doesn't cover expected services. Unfortunately, we do not have control over insurance decisions and policies. As stated in our informed consent, it is disclosed that if, for any reason, insurance doesn’t cover the services, the responsibility would shift to the patient.

However, we genuinely want to rectify this situation for you. Our top priority is your happiness and satisfaction. We have made several attempts to reach out in hopes of reconciling this matter and finding a solution that is fair and beneficial for both sides.

I strongly urge you to contact our office manager, Fabiola. She is dedicated to resolving concerns like yours and will do her utmost to find a way to make this better. I assure you that we are committed to making things right, and it is our sincere hope to earn back your trust in our services.

Thank you for your feedback, as it provides us an opportunity to grow and improve. Please know that we truly care about your experience and well-being.

Hello. Let me start by saying I have no problem with the BBB in handling this situation. My insurance is investigating the situation and I will let them decide the solution. I also wanted to make you aware of care counseling. I'm not the only one with a complaint about them.  Thank you

I was previously seeing this provider and provided them my two health insurance cards to submit claims to for payment. They advised me that I need to provide them a credit card for a $50 deposit, so I did. But ever since then they kept charging my credit card. About 2 months ago I called them to ask why they charged my credit card, they advised because we have not received payment from your health insurance. I called my insurance and they advised they have not received any claims. I called the doctors office and advised them, they said they submitted the claims, and they we rude to me, won't refund my card, won't provide me with a copy of the claim so I can submit it myself so they can get paid. They say its a HIPPA violation, its my information. I also have a HSA card that I could pay the bill for also, but they won't allow it. What I need is for them to submit the claims to BCBS of Anthem and then to Ameriahealth, so they can get paid and they can refund card or mail me a check for what they charged my credit card. I was advised that they took my card off my file, but they just recently charged it again for $21.45. I stopped going there due to this. I cannot get anyone to call me back nor can I get them to help me in anyway. Why aren't they calling health insurance to find out what the issue is and why they haven't been paid? Neither one of my health insurances have received the claims, so they can't pay something they haven't received. The doctor's office said they submitted them electronically, but health insurance has not received them. Can you help me get a copy of these claims or invoices for all charges so I can submit them to health insurance myself and be refunded for all the charges they have charged my credit card? I need to stop fraudulently charging my credit card and submit to health insurance. That's what I have it for. Any other doctor I go to does that and they get paid timely. Why can't this place do this? Please help me! Thank you.

      Hi *******,

It's unfortunate that you have filed a complaint, when calling us or your insurance would have been sufficient to understand that you have been charged only what your insurance states you owe.  Attached you will find explanation of benefits reports from your insurance company showing the total charges you owe, along with an itemized statement from CARE showing what you owed and how much you have paid, year to date.

Please be mindful that any charges that are disputed by you will become charges that you owe and they will go to collections if unpaid. We will verify with the credit card company that this has not happened.

      Take care!
