We purchased cabinetry from this business approximately 6 years ago. We contacted the business starting in December 2021 to purchase a repair kit for the cabinetry (matching wood putty and stain repair stick). After 4 months of 11 phone calls I made to them, finally we were told they had a repair kit we could pick up at their location between 8am-5pm Monday-Friday for $28.00. The woman who typically answers the phone, Karen had promised us this repair kit free of charge since it had taken so long to obtain. The gentleman, Dan, who was finally the one who said they had the repair kit at their office insisted we pay for it. No problem, we happily paid as all we wanted was this repair kit. We picked up the kit on Friday 4/22. The repair kit looked dirty and old as illustrated in the pictures attached. We were assured it was just fine. On Saturday 4/23, we attempted to use the repair kit we had been waiting so long to do only to find that the stain stick was completely dried up and unusable and the wood putty was hardened to the plastic packaging. We cannot even purchase this repair kit through the manufacturer of the cabinetry, Schrock, you have to purchase it through the distributor. We are putting a stop payment on the $28 check. All we want is a repair kit that works. It is frustrating that we can only obtain one through Sibco.
