Servpro is using abusive/fraudulent billing practices in an attempt to collect a late fee. ***** ***** **C used Servpro for flood remediation services, and Servpro worked directly with my insurance company regarding the quote and bill. Servpro apparently sent the bill to my insurance company, but did not email a copy of the bill to me. Servpro claims the bill was not timely paid by the insurance company and has now added a late fee of $136.87. AFTER adding the late fee, Servpro emailed me a copy of the bill. I spoke with the general manager of the Servpro franchise and he does not understand it is inappropriate to add a late fee in the FIRST COMMUNICATION WITH ME about the bill. I WILL NEVER USE SERVPRO AGAIN AND WILL RECOMMEND TO OTHERS TO STAY AWAY FROM SERVPRO.
