Project done at the house by a landscaping company. No invoice given for work done. Job not completed. Still a hole in the wall that was supposed to be repaired. No license provided to show capabilities of doing this type of work. Was under the impression that the business owner was going to contract out what he couldn’t do himself. Instead, left a mess and was charging hourly for what he was doing without description and hours documented as to what he was charging. No documentation and breakdown of what was charged.Business response

Please be advised that we did respond to this complaint. Documentation was sent to your office on Tuesday, December 26, 2023 which indicated that the invoice for Complaint ID #******** had bee paid in full in the amount of $12,400.00 and *** ***** ****** signed off that it had been paid in full.
Should you require any additional information, please feel free to contact our office immediately ** *************
It also should be noted that we contacted the Better Business Bureau and spoke to April on 12/28/23. We also called again on 1/20/2024 and were told that you would be out of the office until the end of the following week.
On 1/12/24 we called and left a message for you at 9:23 am.
Looking forward to hearing back from you ASAP to confirm receipt of this information.

I am rejecting this response because:The hourly rate was astronomical and made up after the fact. There is no record of the hours worked. This was made up and my husband was forced to sign a document after the work was done. Document that was scanned in, date wasn’t correct (only partially scanned in).
Trying to avoid this happening to someone else from this company.
Owner everyday would ask my husband for money and wouldn’t come back and continue work unless more cash was provided.
