Ended up on an impromptu trip to the American Dream mall. My 10 year old son wanted to go to the Nickelodeon amusement park. I approached the counter to purchase a ticket, The lady behind the counter then advises I need to purchase ticket online. So I step aside and buy the ticket for $84.23. I then get back in line after making my purchase. I am then told I need a ticket for myself. I was in flip flops since the trip was spur of the moment. So I inquire if I would be allowed on rides in flip flops, they said no. I requested a refund of the ticket I purchased and they flat out refused. Apparently, Nickelodeon is owned by the American Dream and the American Dream doesnt give refunds. I am really so disgusted by the negative customer experience. It is a goal of mine not to give that facility any additional business. Buyer Beware!

I rarely, if EVER, spread negative reviews about a company but I am FURIOUS. Right before the pandemic, I purchased 7 tickets to Nickelodeon Universe right when they opened. My kids were super excited and the tickets were pretty expensive. You had to pick a date for your trip, which we did. Then, the world shut down. I called and was assured that I could transfer my tickets whenever I wanted and just had to pay a $5 transfer fee per ticket when doing so. Ok, fine. It is not super close so we obviously needed a long weekend or summer to do this. I called today to finally reschedule our trip and was basically told that our tickets had expired and tough luck in so many words. I read them the email upon purchase where it says nothing about expiration, reintegrated the conversation I had with their associate after the fact about transferable tickets, and so forth. I had to ask for a manager which is really, really not me. Countless supervisors and phone calls later (the staff is incredibly rude) and they still wont refund or transfer tickets. Many places that closed during the pandemic added days to their customers season passes and/or offered other incentives. This is not a small business, and they offered me nothing. Whatever you do, do not patronize American Dream and Nickelodeon Universe. We are basically out $700+ with nothing but a yea, ***** for you attitude from this company. **Update- was just called back and was told I could re-purchase my tickets for 25% off. So buy tickets a SECOND time with a small discount. ????

My name is *****************************. I previously worked with LEGO Land discovery center. I resigned because I felt like the employees and higher *** wrongfully treat their colored employees. I cant respect a job that treat their employees differently & have favoritism towards certain employees. My friend ****** was let go of his job for having on the wrong pants and no name tag meanwhile multiple people had wrong pants and no name tag. On my first day of training at dark ride with two Hispanic females that were making fun of my height on the camera you can see the girl thats always with Jazlyn (she didnt have on a name tag so I dont know her name. Stood on the block that we use to help in children with disabilities on to the carts for Imagination Express ride. She stood on the block to mimic my height and they laughed. When I was training we filled out the whole paper for the training I was trained on everything and while the two girls where going over the paper they kept mentioning how they didnt feel like doing my training and kept passing the paper back and forth. When **** the DM was ready to give me the dark ride assessment and the same girl that was mimicking me went and said that I didnt have enough hours there so Im not ready. If the manager is in the process of doing something I felt like she had no business putting in her thoughts especially if I was ready for the assessment. She went to one of the managers she is really cool with Josian and he put me back in hours so I could not take my assessment because they listened to this female about how many hours I didnt instead of looking at the cameras to actually check how many hours I did at dark ride. I feel like that was wrong of them to do to me I worked hard and was dedicated on learning all the positions. Whenever I walk pass the group that stay by dark ride they just stared me down and never spoke to me just looked at me. Other colored employees said they experienced the same thing they just get used to

I want to set up an appointment to discuss how I was racially profiled at LEGO Land. On Thursday March 31st 2021 I was sent home due to wearing black **** pants and having no name tag. Majority of the employees at LEGO Land discovery had no name tag and I have photos to prove that multiple people had no tag or proper pants on, but they were not sent home. I figure that the reason I was singled out is because I told ******* about the ************** that kept staring at me on my first day of work. Nobody said hello to me everyone just stared in a weird way. I told one person from the group to stop looking at me and they made it a problem like I was being negative and I told them I felt singled out. After they sent me home they called security because I asked them too because I felt uncomfortable. ***** and ****** were both following me around like I was a threat because I wasnt wearing the correct pants or my name tag like multiple other employees that I took photos of. I did not feel comfortable with how I was being treated so I asked for security to ****** me out. After I was escorted out I went back downstairs in LEGO land discovery to get my car keys from Makayla (my close friend) and Aries (another employee in baggy sweats and no name tag) called Josian and him then when he came ***** told them I was wearing a backpack. (I do not own a backpack I do not own a weapon) she lied and the cameras can proof I did not have on a backpack at all. They called Code Red (active shooter) on the radio. They put many people in a panic mode I am not harming anybody I did not make any threats if they feel like Im aggressive because I am a black man that speaks up for himself that is wrong. I want to know why I had to go home and everyone else that had on sweats and no name tag stayed the full day and got their hours. I am not ok with how this situation went because I am 3 days into this job , still training and this is how I was welcomed. I was racially profiled and accused
