From 2021-2024 We paid $118,000 for installation of solar system with battery backup in our home. The payment is being made over 25 years. We entered into contract with Skyline Solar, along with Sunnova *** ******** ***** ***** ******* ** ***** * we will file BBB complaint against them, also), with the understanding that we would receive rebates from the "** ***** Solar Incentive Program" of about $8,000. Despite repeated phone calls and emails over the course of two years, they have not complied. The string of email is attached.

      Hello *** *********

I'm one of the owners of Skyline Solar. I'm really sorry for the experience you have had regarding this Massachusetts rebate. I looked into this matter in order to determine what our role was on this particular install. Skyline Solar was the hired by the originator SunnyMac to install the project only. Skyline Solar was not responsible for any of the rebates or other normal paperwork on this job. This would fall under the originator SunnyMac. Dave G**** is the contact we have that should be responsible for the paperwork/rebates side of the install.

Despite this not being a part of our scope of work I would be more then willing to help you in any way contact those who are supposed to take care of this work.

      Thank you,

      Bill D.

My email is ********************** I will be sending you an email with my complete contact information.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:
Apparently Skyline Solar says the problem is with SunnyMac and that Dave G**** at SunnyMac is the contact person. In attempting to resolve this issue on our own, we've found that the issue is constantly being pawned off on someone else. Would like Skyline Solar to follow up since this is who we entered into contract with.

      Regards,

We were hired to install this project and we have contract plus emails to prove that. As well we have an email chain with SunnyMac that also clearly shows the responsibility for the ** ***** REBATE was not our responsibility. I can provide proof of everything I'm claiming and I don't appreciate this customer making flat our misrepresentations about my company.

Ive attached the contract and the communication from Eversource clearly proving my side that I was not responsible or hired to handle this paper work. I was the strictly the installer as seen in the contract also provided

      Thank you,

      Bill

Hello and thank you for bringing your concern to our attention.

Bright Home Solutions was the company that sold the solar panel plan for your home. It was financed through Sunnova and then we, at Skyline Solar, were contracted to install your panels.

Any financial documents and commitments go directly to Sunnova, meaning any rebates and tax credit paperwork. In some cases, we are also contracted to apply for rebates for the homeowners and issue the credits to them directly or to Sunnova depending what the Sunnova contract stipulates.

I am sorry you have been unable to get a hold of anyone, have you been trying our main line: ************?

No worries, we will have someone reach out to you to see how we can assist. Hopefully the number on file for you is still a good number!

We purchased a home solar power system from Skyline Solar approximately March of 2021. We have never heard from the company again although I tried to contact them on several occasions because I had common type questions. I tried their office in ************** as well as their office in ****. No one has ever answered the phone. At least on 2 occasions we have been without power when we lost electricity during daylight hours. This should never happen. I again tried contacting them today by phone and email without success. Are they still in business? In an ideal world, I would stop paying for what I am not getting! Right now I would settle for answers, either from the company or from BBB. Any info about any class action lawsuits against this company would be good too. Thank you

Hello - I am sorry to hear about the lack of response to your concern. We would be upset to!

The complaint mentioned a *********** and Grand Junction?  We are Skyline Solar LLC in ******************* ... I believe you have the wrong company altogether! We are aware of another Skyline Solar out in that area, however it is not us that installed your system.

I have called HR and Accounting several times for the past 4 months and now they don't get back to me and I been calling every week leaving voice message and no response. This is not right and I feel like I have been lied to, even from the start with my sales representative that promised me all of the things that was going to happen and never met the expectations 1. My sale representative took out 8k out of the solar panel loan for me to utilize it for my tree removal In my property, and none of that money was given to me or what was left of it and I am paying a higher monthly bill for something that I never received the money. 2. My sale representative told me my monthly bill was going to be around $170 - $190 for the kwt and amount of panels are being setup, but since I was taken 8k out of the loan for my tree removal, the monthly bills went up to $230 around there, and by signing up to SRec, the sale representative mention that the monthly bill will be going down to $206 a month, which sounded good, but I currently paying close to $290 a month and I was lied too. It has been 4 - 5 months that I have been paying for an amount that I shouldn't be paying. 3. My sale representative got me a roof contractor, because there was A leak in one of the areas in the roof. It was advise to change the whole entire roof. Once the roof got replaced, in one of the raining days, one area in the kitchen started leaking, when it that area wasn't leaking before the roof got replaced. I brought this up to my sale representative and the roof contractor (roofworks) didnt want to be responsible or accountable for the leak. So I been having a leaking sealing in the kitchen getting damaged and nothing is being addressed. If you can please help me with these issues that I just mention it would be greatly appreciated. I have try calling All the department to get answers and it seems like no ***** knows what is going on and I need this resolved ASAP as this has been ongoing since May 3rd

Skyline Solar LLC installed solar panels on my property from a contract with Sunova. Theres in an inspection pending regarding the electric work performed. I've reached out to the company to finalize the inspection and I haven't heard from them. The job required an ( 18inD x 1ftW x 7ftL) trench for wires between the house and the garage and it's still open. Im asking the company to simply complete their job and follow up because the trench presents a safety problem to the members of my family, one of them is disabled. Please advise
