      District 5 Boutiqus has charged me 1380 US dollars for a dress that is no longer produced and did not refund my money although they did acknowledge that the product I requested is no longer being produced, I made the order in May 2023 but they did not inform me until after I reached out to them on multiple occasions. It is unacceptable to charge a customer for a product and not provide them with that specific product and then hold their money as "credit" although I did not did not receive the product, they simply took my money and did not provide me with the service that I requested and held on my money refusing to return it.

      Date of Transaction: 6/28/24 Amount of Money Paid: $1020.00 (but total money that business will not honor: $1090.80) Business was committed to provide me the product I purchased. Nature of Dispute: Business cancelled my order stating my store credit expired in 2022. Had purchased a prior product totaling $1090.80 10/15/2021 for which I returned due to product not fitting and was subsequently refunded store credit on 12/1/2021. I was not aware of an expiration date of store credit (never informed) - and have logged into my account numerous times since 2022 with ACTIVE store credit of $1090.80. I finally decided to use it for a special occasion to mark a 10 year vow renewal and getting through a loss of a pregnancy on 6/28/24 and the order went through with the ability to use my store credit being processed and with residual store credit on my account. I contacted business to follow up as I saw order was canceled. Business states credit is not usable despite it being active on my account. I referred to their refund policy about store credit which states "Store Credit Policy is effective as of January 1, 2023, and applies to all store credit issued by District 5 Boutique on or after that date" -- when I brought this info to their representative, stating I was not informed of 1 year expiration and since my purchase/refund was BEFORE 1/1/23 I request they honor my credit and was refused.

      ? ? I am sending you this after being ignored countless times by District 5 where I have reached out via phone call, text message, and ******** over the past 11 months. I have outlined the current situation and my frustrations below: I placed the following orders with district 5 totaling $32,998.40. Order #***** on 12/29/22 for $9,996.00 Order #***** on 1/15/23 for $1,026.50 Order #***** on 6/17/23 for $4,911.50 Order #***** (7 dresses) on 7/1/23 for $17,054.40 I returned the following items/orders totaling $31,413.40 minus shipping costs (~$80). 4 dresses in Order #***** with an expected refund of $8,421.00 minus shipping costs ($35.00) All of Order #***** with an expected refund of $1,026.50 minus shipping costs (~$15) All of Order #***** with an expected refund of $4,911.50 minus shipping costs (~$15) All of Order #***** with an expected refund of $17,054.40 minus shipping costs (~$15) At the time of purchase and return, District 5’s return policy was that the customer would receive a refund to their original method of payment as long as returned within 10 days of receiving shipment which I did!! Once I realized they were not returning my money to the original payment method, I reached out to District 5 countless times and was promised not to worry, that District 5 would deal with it and process the return shortly. I gave District 5 the benefit of the doubt, but after significant time passed and I still did not receive the return to my original payment method I followed up several times and was ignored on all methods of communication. With no other options, I disputed the charge with my credit card and based on the timing of the transactions I was able to recover $21,965.40 for order # ***** and order #*****, which means I am still owed $9,368.00 ($31,333.40- $21,965.40= $9,368). That is a large sum of money but I would be willing to get $5000. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated.

      I ordered a dress (which is made to order) from District 5 on March 12. I received and email 3 weeks later stating that they no longer have the fabric available so cannot make the dress (this was for my daughters wedding) I was told that I could pick from their "ready to wear" section and could also get an additional $300 credit. I could not find a dress I liked and requested a refund. I was originally told that they don't give refunds just store credit. My response was that they did not provide me with what I had ordered and that it wasn't a "return". The gal from customer service finally got back to me on April 16 and told me that I would get a full refund and that it would take 10 business days. I still have not received my refund. I have contacted her several times. She did respond the first time saying she would inquire, then that the refund was coming. I contacted her again last Tuesday, June 25 but have not heard back. I have the email thread as well.

      A dress was ordered online which stated a lead time of 4-7 weeks. When I called to follow up at week 7 they informed me that it would take ***** weeks. When at week 12 I was informed that dress was not even close to shipping I attempted to cancel and get a refund. At this point we are 15 weeks and they refuse to issue a refund. This is tantamount to fraud.

      Purchased a dress on 7/29. Got an email on Aug 2nd saying they didn't have and couldn't get the dress. They offered store credit or said a refund would take ***** days. I asked for the refund. 2 weeks go by and no refund. They said the accounting team would need to mail me a check. Once I sent the address, they quit replying to my emails, have never answered their phone, and ghosted us. Many other people have a similar story. This company is a scam. DO NOT USE IT.

      I made an order on 16th of June 2023 , the dress arrived on 20th of June, ** was not suitable for me then I decided to return it I informed the boutique through the website request and email . The dress arrived back to the boutique on 26th of June. Since that time I did not receive my money! I sent alot of emails to them but they delayed the refund process. They sent an email with offer to give me an extra discount if I will make exchange instead of the return BUT I informed them I preferred to return it because I need the money. They delayed the return process which lead to preventing me from buying another dress and moreover financial issues to me and my family.

      On 27th of April I have placed order(18823 which was supposed to be delivered by 26th of June. However i have sent this store so many messages regarding the order and they kept responding to me with delay that they will check and get back to me. Until this date i have not received any reply , they do not answer their contact number also. This website is absolute fraud.

      To Whom It May ******************************** customer has been responded to directly by the owner of the company.  We apologize for any inconvenience that they were not able to receive the dress in time, however the customer during the middle of us prepping to have the item shipped contacted the designer directly and received this directly from the designer.  We have refunded the client in full.
