i would highly recommend you NOT USE THIS COMPANY their product is garbage their service is terrible and they lie threw their teeth all the time. The salesman told me that its a 1 day install which sounded good because we only have one bathroom in our house so.. they finally show up after canceling our appointments 3 times, and they don't have the right size ceiling piece, or the **** dollar shower doors we ordered. they initially told me they were backordered then they told me they were never ordered. so when i asked for a discount for my inconvenience the woman laughed at me, yes laughed. then they came back with the shower door unit to install that, and they have the wrong doors on it. so I smartly held back 400 dollars of my payment until they make it right. they are supposed to come out tomorrow and give me the right doors but now I noticed that the tub faucet is so loose its about to fall off the wall. I'm confident that my complaint will fall on deaf ears given the responds to all my other concerns with this company. also the caulking job they did was terrible nothing lines up at all. I'm so disappointed with this job it makes me sick, I'm not the kind of person who likes to leave bad reviews but if I can help someone not make the same mistake I did it will be worth it. even if you have to pay more for your job don't use this company or you will regret it.

I tried to cancel my Bathfitter job after I found out from a former Bathfitter employee that the tubs do not have flanges, and the shower wall goes in first, then the tub. This defies all laws of hydrodynamics and as soon as the caulk fails water will leak below the tub liner and become trapped between the old tub and liner. This causes mold and mildew. I wasn't told about the flange-less system they invented because I didn't ask. They're little display prop shows the shower wall goes on top of the insert, this is untrue.I was 2 days late in my cancelation request so I said I wasn't going to be able to pay them, they said they are not refunding my $2000 deposit. Furthermore the salesman stated my control valve would be a push in type that allows turning off the water without changing the temperature setting. This is also untrue, it's a standard turn-type control valve. The insert isn't as glossy as the showerwall so within 2 days it starts showing dirt and isn't as easy to clean as advertised. Vinegar is completely ineffective in cleaning the tub. I asked salesperson if the rim of the tub will be pitched properly so water doesn't collect in the corners. He assured me it would. This was also untrue as the pitch of the rim is outward, causing water to pool all around the rim of the tub at the wall, the most vulnerable part where the caulk is, so I now must dry the rim every time I shower as to preserve the only defense against a leak. Lastly, on Thanksgiving Day, the plumbing sprung a leak into my basement because the installer sweat a pipe connection above his Shark Bite fitting, melting the rubber and causing an eventual failure. I have a picture. THANKFULLY I WAS HOME.Had I been at work or sleeping my basement would've been flooded and they aren't liable for incedental or consequential damage. I repaired it myself instead of waiting however long for them to come. I needed water. My Thanksgiving was ruined.I wouldn't recommend Bathfitter to anyone.

Hello ****************, I do apologize for any leak that happened. We can send someone out to confirm everything is okay from that leak. As for how we install a tub unit, we do that so the job can properly be done in 1 day. We apply an adhesive around the rails to make sure that no water can enter underneath the tub, if the caulk does indeed break. For cleaning the unit, we can send you the cleaning list to help you with what items you need to clean the unit.
