I had a terrible experience and when i went to write a review so others would hopefully not go through what i went through i saw that i was not the 1st,2nd, 5th or even 10th person to go through this. Save your money, time and go to other shelters who want to actually re-home the animals.Review from Janice H

This shelter' policies are deceptive. They do not include in either the Intent to Adopt form or Adoption Agreement that they require mandatory tattooing for all animals during spaying and neutering. Adopters are told AFTER they sign the contract that their pet will be permanently marked with a green line. They say it will be "tiny" but the tattoo is made very visible across the dog's abdomen. They communicate this information in the last line of the surgery scheduling email that arrives weeks after adoption, just a few days before the procedure. They also require microchipping, and they register the dog in their own name, even though you are the ******** aware of these policies before you travel for the meet and greet where you are on the spot to adopt the dog and sign the contract. This shelter does not allow you to use your own vet for spay/neuter or decide if your dog needs permanent marking.Review from Gerry B

I writing this review mostly in response to the negative reviews posted. I have 2 huskies both are rescues and one was a rescue from husky house. I have been boarding and using them for daycare for close to 4 years and the volunteers and the staff that work there are the most caring and dedicated individuals I ever met. They often rescue dogs that other rescues won't take. Admittedly at times they don't communicate well and there adoption process is very strict which some people don't quite grasp but in my case it was because the dog I adopted from them came from a Chinese meat market so they wanted to be assured that she would be in good hands. Wish I could give lower than 1 star. They answer your messages until you put in an application AND PAY$10 application fee then they ghost you. No info, call. Message, nothing but a form letter saying you were denied adoption. I tried for 2 weeks to get in touch in every way. After I read YELP reviews , I realized they are a scam and some people think they involved in animal/ puppy traficking.
