I bought MasterShield Gutter Protection with a heater to prevent ice dams. According to their web site, there is a lifetime warrantee. The heater hasn't worked for years. Multiple emails and calls have not provided someone who will fix it.Business response

It appears that the heat cable installed with MasterShield no longer is working. *************** has made a complaint to the manufacturer of the gutter guard installed with the heat cable, not the heat cable manufacturer to address their warranty. The MasterShield warranty only covers our product and not ancillary products/materials it is installed with. Please note this is mentioned in our product warranty and on the warranty registration page on our website: https://mastershield.com/warranty-registration/ . We cannot be held accountable for materials used in installations by independently owned installers nor for the performance of third party products used in installation process. We have reached out to **************** in light of his complaint, but this is an issue to be addressed with the appropriate manufacturer. Thank you..
