We've dropped my son's iPhone 12 for a simple repair at Cellaxs Phone Repair at Woodfield Mall in Schaumburg,IL. The screen was cracked on the corner , the phone was working just fine. The business is advertising phone repairs for 30 min or less. After they perform the "repair" the phone was not working anymore , looks like the "technician" did something wrong and was not able to fix the phone. And they started with the lame excuses, with the lies , they had to do this and that. 2 ( two ) weeks later the phone is still with them , they can not fix it and they refuse to return it because it was sent somewhere else for repairs. We've decided to pay the insurance deductible to **** ( the provider ) and claim the phone as stolen or lost in order to get a new one. We've actually agreed with them that they will cover that expense and we are going to shake our hands. The next day they refuse to do so, they can not pay $275.00 deductible because they've spent a lot of money trying to fix the phone their own technician broke! At this time 2.5 weeks later they still got the phone and we are still waiting on compensation. Police can NOT do anything! Mall Management can NOT do anything.... These people are not qualified to perform repairs but somehow the appear on every corner!Initial Complaint

I dropped off my daughters iPad Pro which she uses for her artwork and we use for our work. They promised me they would have it fixed that week for $100. I repeated over and over again what he promised me. We came back a week and a half later bc we were out of town and he said he had not even started fixing it and that he would call us back when it is ready. I called back the following week. Which is now 3 weeks that he had it in his possession. And he still did not have it ready. Said it would be $180 now. I told him that you promised to have it fixed 3 weeks ago for $100. Now you have to fix it or I want my money and iPad back. He advised it no longer works. So then I said you have to reimburse me for the iPad! When I went in person, he slapped the old, broken screen back on and gave it back to me with my deposit back. We went a month without it, and I still have a broken iPad. I want them to pay for a new iPad Pro!Initial Complaint

Brought working phone in for repair, it had a cracked screen. When phone was returned it was no longer operational. CellAXS refuses to make good and purchase a replacement phone. In other words, due to their work, they broke the phone and phone is no longer usable.
