i purchased a 2014 Ford F-550 truck from Phoenix Trucks in 2021. After having possession of the truck for 6 months and having put no more than 300 miles or so on it, the truck died. Phoenix Trucks offered me no assistance at all. I was told that to repair the truck it would cost over 18,000.00 dollars. I told them to take the truck back, which they did. I paid at least 7500.00 down and made 6 payments of 885.00 to their financing company. To this day, the truck is back on their lot for sale. I realize that I will never get the money back that I spent on it. But the bank still has a 24,000.00 lien on me, and this is greatly affecting my credit, as it is considered a repossession.

Unfortunately, the only part of this customers statement which is true is the very first sentence, “I purchased a 2014 Ford F-550 from Phoenix Truxx in 2021”.  Here is what actually happened:
In February 2021 this customer brought a truck from us.  In early 2022, after he had this truck for a year, he called and said he was having trouble with this truck and received an outrageous estimate from a close, personal friend who owns a Ford Dealership, but flat out refused our help.  He said he would rather have his friend take care of it who was closer to where he lived.
Then in April 2022, this truck was REPOSSESED BY THE BANK for non-payment and offered for auction on May 6, 2022, at which time we REPURCHASED IT FROM THE BANK.  This is why it was back on our lot.

      Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

The time frames and dates in the response from phoenix are completely erroneous.

I entered into an agreement with Phoenix Trucks to purchase said vehicle after I was approved on September 15,2020.

My first payment was for 500.00 on September 18. I made payments up to February 5, 2021, which was when i paid the balance of the 7500.00 and went down to their dealership and took the truck home. On June 21, 2021 the truck broke down. For the safety of my crew, I had the truck towed to nearby qualified diesel mechanic, who informed me that the diesel engine had no compression in 3 cylinders, estimated cost of repair would be over $18,000.00.

I entered into an agreement to buy this truck in good faith and that it was in good working condition, Phoenix Trucks offered me no assistance at all.

I am already out of the down payment i gave Phoenix Trucks along with the payments i made to Automotive Credit Corporation.

I feel it is ridiculous that I am still responsible for the 24,000.00 lien that stands on my name and corporation.
