Just like other reviews, I am having the same issues. Still charging me after I cancelled. Saying I received a credit, when I cannot see them ANYWHERE on my electric bills. Giving me the run around left and right. Fell for this after two salesmen came to my door and painted (what seemed) a pretty picture. I never finished setting up my account or completing their "onboarding". I cancelled before, yet I'm getting a bill. No one told me that I still had the possibility to be charged. Communication is terrible. Do not to business with this company.Review from Emily B

I think the 5 star reviews on here are bogus and made up by this company. I signed up for nautilus through an door-to-door ********. Their billing was incredibly confusing. I decided to cancel in November of 2022. They continued to bill me through April of 2023. This week, September of 2024 I received an invoice via email for $56.00 set on "autopay". I had to spend my time to figure out why they were invoicing me almost 2 years after I cancelled service. They stated that there was a surplus that was used and they don't get notification of when it is used resulting in inaccurate billing. I told them they were NOT authorized to take money out of my checking account, but they did anyway. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AND DONT GIVE THEM YOUR BANK ACCOUNT NUMBER!Review from Holly A

We would never sign up for solar allocations from this company knowing what we know. Our allocations were grossly overestimated compared to our usage, but we had just relocated and did not have the ability to pull the requested years worth of past electricity bills to support our claim. Their customer service refused to lower our allocation, even when we notified them of our inability to financially support their bills. We immediately canceled our enrollment but they continued to bill us for two months after for increasing amounts. Our bills were $600-$700 when we'd normally be paying $100-$200. If only because this business cares nothing about the people they service, please do not enroll.Review from Carol P

If ZERO stars were an option, I would've chosen that.Nautilus is sketchy and FRAUDULENT. I, stupidly, signed up for the program when 2 door-to-door salesmen came to our home yapping about savings on our Electric bill. Today, $307 was drafted out of an account that I NEVER AUTHORIZED TO BE USED. I called, and was told that when the representatives were here, that's when a payment method would've been chosen. At one point, he asked to see my ************** app, so I handed over my phone. He STOLE my bank account information from the past payments in that app, and input it into Nautilus without my *************, you're asking how I know I didn't input that info, right? Well, for two reasons; First, the kid told me my billing methods wouldn't change and I would still be paying one bill through **************, and, Second; I have 2 bank accounts, one for bills, and the other that I use for fun money/personal money - I would NOT have set my "fun" money account to handle our Electric Bill or Nautilus either way. Coincidently enough, Nautilus supposedly doesn't know who was out here at my home. I am fuming and will be taking this ALL the way up to hold this little scumbag and his partner accountable.Nautilus Community Solar LLC Response

BEWARE: Nautilus Solar is FRAUDULENT and DECEPTIVE. A Nautilus Solar door-to-door sales representative came to my door to tell me about a new federal and state government project that encourages households to supplement their electricity with local community solar services. I was promised that singing up for this community solar program using an auto-payment plan it would result in a 10% reduction in my electricity expenses. Maryland has a three-day contract review and cancellation law that protects consumers who make purchases from door-to-door sales reps. ** day three I wrote a cancellation letter to Nautilus Solar via certified mail and forwarded a pdf copy via email. In fact, the sale rep told me that my assigned local community solar field facility was still under construction and that I would be placed on a waitlist for the next 2-3 months before being contacted to confirm that I wanted to be connected for service. I cancelled because there was no written documentation that I would actually get a 10% reduction in my electricity expenses and I found that Nautilus Solar is a Third Party Provider and is NOT regulated so their rates are unpredictable. Nautilus Solar replied to my cancellation email stating that allocations of members that recently subscribed was already sent to the solar farm that I signed up to and that it was going active today, a day after I sent my cancellation notice. The customer agent goes on to say that it would take 1 to 2 billing cycles for the utility to apply the solar credits to my electric service and that my last bill from Nautilus Solar would be in Nov 2024. My initial encounter with Nautilus Solar was the end of June 2024. I checked my utility company and confirmed that I'm not connected with any solar services yet but Nautilus plans to bill me for months! DO NOT SUBSCRIBE!!!Review from Nikko S

Nautilus Community Solar is fraudulent. The service rep that came door to door gave misleading information about the program worked with my electric company. I was told that i would just have to pay my regular electric bill and that was all because they said they had partnered with the electric company which is not the case. Received a bill 4 months later after signing up with company. We were told nothing about getting a second bill. Getting a hold of the company extremely difficult and after we did representative was not knowledgeable about the product they were selling or the process. Do not sign up with this company.Nautilus Community Solar LLC Response

I was very reluctant to sign up for this program but the sales person convinced me that it would all work out. They want you to sign up for automatic payments before you know if the program will work for your account. I was assured that there wouldn't be any problems and I could always cancel at anytime. So I went for it, with the hope that I was making the right decision and doing right by the environment. I received a bill from Nautilus for $350 which was for a month that I had already paid my local energy company for. When I contacted customer support at **********************, they said that it wasn't their fault that my local company didn't show the credit on my account yet. Once I sent them a copy of my current bill from the electric company, Nautilus informed me that the energy credit was on my account but I wasn't going to be able to receive the dollar amount credit because of a secondary supplier. So I asked that they cancel the account and I would honor this one payment to them, even though I'm not getting the dollar amount credit. They said they would cancel my account but it would take 90 days!! So now they are trying to continue to bill me for something that I won't receive the credits for. Well, I stopped payments and will be glad to go to court to have a judge tell them what they are doing is wrong. What's even worse is that they are giving other community solar companies a bad name. Consumers are going to be reluctant to try any community solar when there is a possibility of being scammed like this. Never again! Do NOT sign up for this service if you have ANY reservations about the way it works. They will lie to you to get you to sign a contract and then drag you through the mud.Nautilus Community Solar LLC Response

I signed up with Nautilus Community Solar and a few months later I received a small bill from my utility, after this I was invoiced by Nautilus for less than what I should have paid that month. I would recommend this to anybody, in the economy we have today, I will find a way to save on any bill that I can especially when there is no hassle involved. Keep up the good work!
