on June 30 2022 I purchased an item but did not take posession of it, the item never left the store and is in brand new condition. On July 5 2022 , 3 business days later I returned to the store and requested a refund, I no longer wanted to purchase that item. The merchant charged me $39 fee to refund the purchase. This 6% fee was not explained to me at the time of purchase nor is it printed on my purchase receipt and is not visibly posted in their store.Initial Complaint

Gun shop reassured me that they could fix my Remington ***** shotgun. The owners name is ****. They told me it would be 3-4 weeks. After 9 phone calls over the course of 4 months, 3 in person visits and empty promises, I had to physically go in 19 weeks later to demand to have my gun back. It was returned to me after having to demand that they return my property, because it became clear that promises for services were made, but they couldn't deliver. He told me he cleaned the gun and replaced a simple O-ring for probably under $5.00. When I went to pick it up, he gave it back to me without the recoil pad attached, and also lost the Gas Cylinder collar. Both of these parts make the gun inoperative, and they both were a part of the gun when I dropped it off. So I had to purchase a $36 recoil pad, and a $10 gas cylinder collar, both parts that were in-tact on my firearm when I dropped it off. Owner won't respond when I ask him for payment. After having gone thru this, I've heard from 5 separate individuals that this is a common business practice of this owner. To promise to fix a firearm within a set time, not do anything for months, and then return the gun with missing parts. I wish to write this complaint so no one ever has to go thru what I went thru, and to be compensated for lost parts
