The hospital sent a bill under my wife's name to a collections agency. The health plan denied payment to the hospital due to the bill not being received by the contractual deadline. Both the health plan and the hospital refuse to resolve the situation after more than a year and numerous phone calls to both parties. 1. RWJ did not file claim with ***** in timely manner 2. RWJ submitted bill to collections without sending it to insurance 3. RWJ did not resubmit the claim with proof of timely filing to insurance as requested by ***** 4. RWJ delayed to resolve the billing issue for over 1 year for an insured patient. 5. ***** refuses to pay the claim due the claim having been submitted untimely. 6. RWJ did not submit the claim to ***** sooner because ***** ******* not eligible when they performed eligibility checks on 2/6/23, 2/14/23, 3/2/23. However ***** has 30 days to process a newborn eligibility and the birth was 2/5/23. 7. ***** is unable to resolve the billing issue with RWJ. 8. RWJ refuses to retract the bill.

I'm on a payment plan with RWJBH, and make my payments monthly before due date for over a year now. I made my payment online Dec. 9 2023 ( due date is the 15th of every month), and received a confirmation email with #. I received a default notice on 1/1/24, called spoke to someone and they directed me to fax over the statement proving I made the payment. 1/7/24 I faxed over bank statement showing payment to RWJBH and it was removed from my account. Still continuing to pay my monthly payments, I followed up on 1/29/24 and they told me my proof was declined they needed my full bank statement from December 2023, showing that one payment was enough. I begrudgingly faxed over my Full banking statement highlighting the payment made on 12/9/23. Received another default payment notice, 1/31/24 followed up 2/8/24 and they told me to ignore. Followed up 2/15/24 and was told that review is still pending, I requested a manager call me back to find out when this would be resolved. No one ever contacted me, I called again 3/1/24 to see if this has been resolved to find out is in STILL a pending inquiry and she could not find out when I will have an answer. I am beyond frustrated considering I pay my bills early, I have confirmation #s for every single payment made to RWJ and I am defending myself with debit card payment proof from my bank and still getting nowhere and considered in default. I need any help I can get to resolve this before I need to bring an attorney in.

I owed the hospital my portion of my copay, I was paying them. They wanted me to go on a payment plan when I refused they sent my account to a collection company for payment even though I was not delinquent. So I have started paying the collection company with no choice.

I am writing to express my extreme dissatisfaction and frustration regarding my experience with EMT class number #*** in ***********. On Thursday, October 5th, I was unfairly dismissed from the class after failing two tests consecutively, as per state regulations. However, I firmly believe that the circumstances under which the tests were administered were not just misleading but downright deceptive.Allow me to explain. We were instructed to prepare for a Unit 2 test, so I invested my time, energy, and resources to ensure I was adequately prepared for it. To my utter disbelief, the test that was administered to us was comprised of 95% Unit 1 content and a mere 5% from Unit 2. Given that our focus was on Unit 2, it's no surprise that many of us were caught off-guard and did not perform as expected on a test that was essentially on a different unit.It is beyond comprehension how such a grave error could have occurred in a professional setting, where students have invested not just their money, but also their hopes and aspirations. Dismissing us without a refund under these dubious circumstances feels nothing short of an unethical business ploy to pocket $2,000.00 from unsuspecting students. If a test is labeled as "Unit 2," it is a reasonable expectation that the content should be from Unit 2 and not Unit 1. This blatant misrepresentation has not only cost me financially but has also disrupted my educational trajectory.I demand either a full refund of my course fees or appropriate compensation towards enrolling in another class. It is only right that RWJ rectifies this situation immediately, ensuring that such blunders do not recur and that affected students are justly compensated.Awaiting a prompt resolution,

Aetna adjusted patient responsibility after provider was paid. RWJ Barnabas Health Medical Group has used every tactics (1-your account is closed as you paid in full, 2-for weeks they never received EOB, 3-EOB must be submitted by mail, yet original was electronic, 4-there is a process you have to wait 6 to 8 weeks, 5-EOB just received need 30 business days to review, etc.), NOT to not provide refund. Aetna claim they cannot help as I paid the provider, yet they caused the error and I would have not paid except for *****'s EOB. The provide RWJ Barnabas Health Medical Group today informed it will take another 30 BUSINESS DAYS for them even to review, which puts at mid-August and not even for refund. If I had owed them within 30 calendar days I would have been in collections. RWJ Barnabas Health Medical Group based on the now received EOB refund me my money immediately.
