Hunter T***** owner of Thomas Restoration of New Mexico was supposed to rebuild my bathroom, replace tiles, vanity, drywall, doorframes and baseboards after a water flood.. I prepaid him $3,724 and he said the work would be done in 2 weeks max. He sent in subcontractor and 6 weeks after starting, finally declared the work was done. I found the work totally unacceptable. Damaged and mislaid tiles, damaged vanity improperly installed, drywall cracking, wrong color of paint applied to doorframes and baseboards that were not replaced. He used Glossy white Paint. Paint and drywall stains in the tile grout. No caulking between tiles and bathtub. I contacted the subcontractor after he had departed via text. He stated he was sorry that he needs glasses and can’t see very well! The owner of Thomas Restoration Hunter T***** stated in a text he would send the subcontractors back in to correct the problems. Nothing was ever done. I sent 23 text messages, 16 phone messages, 2 emails and 3 letters requesting the job be finished and done correctly. I finally requested in a email and in writing I wanted a refund of the money I sent. I continue to not receive any reply from Hunter Thomas, and the 4 texts that were received from the subcontractor were nothing more than a runaround stating they would come fix things but never did show up. I’m a 100% disabled veteran who is dying from blood cancer. I am trying to get my home fixed so I can leave it to my kids. Why I’m being ignored and not getting the service I paid for I can’t understand. I have taken numerous pictures and videos of the problems and sent them to both Hunter T***** Restoration and to his subcontractor. I believe the corporate headquarters for Thomas Restoration is actually out of Mesa Arizona 10138 E. Radiant Ave Mesa AZ 85212 and a person named Zachary T*****. And not here in Albuquerque. I’ve asked Hunter to come see the problems but he just ignores. Don’t believe he’s in Albuquerque. Guess legal actions is next.
