Last spring I paid Martin @ NM Shed 3053.72 deposit for a shed to be built on site. He promised 3 weeks, the deadline passed he apologized when I called and he promised to set up another delivery. It never happened. I have several text messaged where he promised to return my money but it never happened. The transaction happened 4/10/2023.

In October of 2019, Mr. Martin M******* of New Mexico Shed Company built and installed a 9X12 shed in my backyard. The door was a metal rolling door made by Janus International. May 30, 2023, the rolling door on the shed became disabled by an apparent broken spring and would not roll up properly. So on June 20, 2023, I reached out to Mr. M******* via email and cell phone and requested help with replacing the door. On his company website it states that a steel door costs $350.00. I left him my phone number and email address. June 23, 2023, I emailed Mr. M******* again. Stating that I would like to purchase a new metal door for $350.00 and have it installed. Later that afternoon, Mr. M******* did reply. He told me the price of the door had gone up to $535.00. He also said his company would install the door free of charge. I offered to pay cash, but he wanted to use PayPal. I agreed. June 24, 2023, I sent $535.00 plus a $5.00 fee (540.00) via PayPal to Mr. M******* and, he replied via text that he received the payment. He said he would give me an update on Monday, June 26, 2023. He did not call. July 11, 2023, I sent a text to Mr. M******* requesting an update. He did respond with a very vague answer and said he would call me back with an update. No update. July 18, 2023, I again request and update. He responds with vague answer. Says he will contact me with status. No update. So from this point on, I attempted to contact Mr. M******* with no response other than more excuses on July 25, July 28, August 2, August 4, August 7, August 8, August 9, August 10, August 12, August 15, August 17, August 21, August 26. September 5, I sent him a text stating I wanted a complete refund for $540.00 in the form of a cashiers check sent to my address no later than Friday, May 15, 2023. As of this date, September 7, 2023, I have not heard from Mr. M*******. I simply want my refund so I can have someone repair my shed door.Initial Complaint

On 20 March, 2023 after verbal discussion with Martin M*******, I paid NM Shed Co (Martin M*******) $3416.94 by visa as half payment for a 12x20 shed to be delivered and installed on my property within 8-10 weeks ( as promised ) Order ID: #******** Auth Mode: ****** *** *** ********* Type: CREDIT Card Type: VISA After receiving this payment, Martin became very hard to get a hold of through numerous texts, email and voicemail messages. He eventually stopped responding completely and has not returned any messages since 25 May, 2023. I've filed a fraud claim with Nusenda Credit Union, (my visa provider). I intend to file a complaint with the NM State Attorney General's Office as well. I did business with NM Shed CO about 5 years ago and it was fine which led me to believe it would be again yet this was a very different experience. Martin is a thief and fraudster after reading numerous online complaints and reviews. I'm out over $3400 and am disgusted that this guy is getting away with this. I would appreciate any help or support you may be able to provide. I can't afford to just throw that money away. Thank you.Initial Complaint

Date of Transaction: 7/20/22 Amount Paid: $3,505.94 Commitment: 10x20 Shed Dispute: Was told shed would be delivered once foundation was complete. Foundation was complete August 29. Was very communicative initially, then when we were ready for delivery he never followed through although several dates were set, and promises made. Simply would not show up or contact us, refused to answer when called. Would only respond in text, when we were persistent. We finally had to go with someone else on October 21, 2022. Have complete conversations, if necessary. Did say he would refund but isn't responding again.Customer response

On April 12, 2021 we gave a deposit to NM Shed for a 50% deposit in a shed as quoted on their website. We have made several attempts to get the shed we ordered delivered and as of today January 10, 2022 we have no shed. I have called Martin several times and he never answers. I texted him today asking for a refund and he responded asking for the last 4 digits of the card used. I responded with that information and asked when to expect our refund. He never responded or will answer the phone. My husband wants to sue him but I just want our money back. I gave him until Wednesday January 12, 2022 for refund without incident or we will file a small claims against his company. I just want my money back.Initial Complaint

On May 27, 2021 at 13:28:06 pm I made a full payment of $3,621.29 to NM Shed. I ordered a 10x16 shed from NM Shed and I was verbally promised that I would get my shed delivered on the 3rd week of July 2021 but Martin did not give a specific date on which day he was going to deliver. July has come to past and I contacted Martin to see what was going on with the Shed and he told me that he was out of town and and he would contact me as soon as he gets in. Weeks past by and I haven't heard anything from Martin and every time I call his phone numbers, its always on a call forwarding and he would reply with a same old text messages about my shed will be delivered next week, I'm waiting on the new schedule to come out, my trailer broke down, I'm out of town and the shed is built will have it out to you next week. Still no shed up to now. Its been past 6 months since my promise date of delivery and I have requested my money back and Martin replied back with a text message saying, "refund has been initiated and you will see a credit within 5-7 business days" those days have been passed like a month ago and I recently contacted Martin through text message and told me that he made some calls and its in processing and delayed. Martin told me this a month ago and it's been a same old story. So this are the phone numbers that I contacted Martin with NM Shed ###-###-####, ###-###-#### and ###-###-####. I would like for all this to be resolved and have my money refunded back into my checking account. I have all the Payment information, the processor response information (approved by NM Shed) and receipt showing paid in full.
