On May 23, 2024 at 10:28am I paid $225.00 with my ********** card ending in 4296 to Oro & Jewelers. I have two receipts, one for payment amount the other for work to be done, received by 3115. The work order required to add a gold link to a mans necklace, the other work order, add a gold clasp and four links to a bracelet. Oro & Jewelers closed for several days without notice and the reason for the closure was not stated on the outside of the ************* property. Oro & Jewelers never contacted me by phone for the reason of their closure, my correct contact phone number is on the work order receipt. Contacted Oro & Jewelers by phone, voicemail was full. If Oro & Jewelers didn't complete the work order, I want my Jewelry pieces returned to me.Initial Complaint

On 10/19/22 I left my English Mantel clock at their ************ location phone ************ to get an estimate for repair. She said I would get a call in couple of days as clock had to go to ************ location for all repairs. He called and said would be 4-6 weeks that there was nothing wrong no parts just a cleaning for $320 with military discount $300 I thought price high but agreed. I am still waiting for clock he said can't get it to chime give him another week. That was 2 weeks ago. Today I called and said I want my clock working or not. She said will call you back. Said I wasn't only customer and hung up on me. 2 hrs later I called and went to voice mail over the weeks I've left voicemail at both locations plus sent email they never call back. I just want my clock returned. Working or not.Business response

Yes I did receive my clock back with no charges. However, as they still never answered my call if I didn't go to the shop I would never have known it was there. They are very rude and unprofessional never apologized that they couldn't fix as they say they have 50 yrs of experience. They were the ones that said it would be 4- 6 weeks. So middle of December it wasn't until I kept calling and going in person that they said he can't get it to work yet he was the one that gave the estimate price and time to clean it as that is all he needed to do no parts. All I wanted was to be treated with respect and honesty nothing wrong in saying I can't repair. I will never go back to them. So I think u can close the complaint and warn others of there lack of customer service and professional attitude. U never should hang up on a customer. Thank you.
