Reapir shop completed repair and approx 4months later, bumper paint started to crack and peel also PPF also started to bubble. **** stated that issue is related to poor workmanship of bumper, but consulted various bodyshop and was told that prepping was not done correctly causing the paint to peel and PPF to bubble. on the 5th month i contacted ******************************* regarding issue and he said that he would take care of the matter, so for the past 6.5months i have been given runaround. i contact ****** several dozen times over the past 6.5mnoths, him stating that he cant reach anyone at VIS Racing where the bumper was ordered from and he is trying to get them to RMA the supposedly defective bumper. I have also contacted VIS Racing and was told that no one from Elite Collision has contact them anytime recently. I would contact ****** and he would state that he will call Vis Racing and return my call immediately but on all occassion he never has returned my call and even has made excuses why he wasnt able to return my calls.Customer response

i received a meesage from SJ from Elite Customs on 11/28/2023 but he was busy with other matters, he had stated that he woul dcall me back within 30min. It is now 01/01/2024 and have not receive a callback from him since, this is what i have been dealing with that they say they will call back but never do. There will only be one outcome in this matter and it is not what they will be able to accomplish considering the interaction i have had with them for the past year.Customer response

I originally brought my 2007 Pontiac Solstice to Elite in June of 2021. The services needed were:- Replace front bumper - Install new A/C system - Replace convertible top - Change interior color scheme (3 colors)- Install new stereo and audio equipment to include reverse camera - Wrap entire vehicle with requested color In April 2022, I needed my car. After much discussion, I picked it up on April 8th. Through the next few weeks, I listed several discrepancies found in the service and overall quality of work. I communicated these issues with Elite and offered a printed list. I asked when I could bring the car back to fix the items on the list.Without exaggerating, there are problems with everything the auto shop came into contact with! (It will be listed on the attached document). To start, there are gaps in the body paneling, the wrap is peeling and has bubbles in it, The interior paneling isn't put on properly, broken parts on the convertible top, etc. I brought the car back at the end of May 2022.For the next several months, I tried contacting the shop about the status of my car. I got no answers or return calls/texts/emails. In early October 2022, they finally contacted me saying the wrap material just came in and they'd let me know when they could fix that. I picked the car up about 2 weeks later. The hood was the only thing fixed. I brought the car back at the end of October and reminded them of the list of discrepancies. I got the car back early December and found that the heater doesn't work, only half the car was wrapped and nothing on the list was fixed. I brought it back in January 13, 2023. Again, I reminded them of the list of discrepancies. Also, I asked how long they would take. I was told about a week. That week came and went... I didnt hear from them until the end of March 2023.I got the car back on April 8,2023, still nothing from the list had been completed. I also got the final invoice. There are a few things that do not make sense.Business response

This customer did bring his car back to address a few issues that he had, Elite addressed the concerns he had and the customer left to our knowledge Happy, as for the wrap of the car the original paint on the car was not in good shape and the customer was told that there would be some imperfections visible due to the fact that wrap is a 3mil sticker that is applied over the paint. Elite has not been contacted again since the last time we looked at the car.Customer response

I am rejecting this response because:My concerns were only addressed verbally. They were never resolved. None of the issues that I identified were corrected. Concerning the wrap, the vehicle was left in the back outdoor storage lot since the original drop off date back in June 2021.
Me leaving with my car was out of necessity, not to be confused with happiness. If I was at all pleased, I would not have brought it back to the shop an additional 2 times.
