What started off being a great transaction turned into a uncomfortable transaction and rude employee mr mike ******. After he took my credit card and processed it then asked me for a picture of me holding my license which I've never had to do in any purchase I've ever made via online or in person. So that being said I didn't want to continue. They did return the money to my card . I then setup up with a driver through uship which went seamless. My main complaint is the email I received from Mr ****** about reporting me to homeland security for fraud. Which is out of line and is 100 percent wrong.

I had shipped before woth American Auto Shippers with no problems. This time, 1 November 2024, I had scheduled 4 vehicles for pickup and deliver to to Texas. Two were priced a $1299 and the other two for $1599. I never got a call from a driver that my vehicles were scheduled for pickup. Instead I got a call from Cruise Control Auto Transport telling me they had received a dispatch request from American Auto but my vehicles would never be shipped because the price I paid was too low but they could assist in making sure my vehicles were picked up in as little as 24 hours. The guy, Zach *****, went on to tell me I should never pay upfront the full amount and other pitfalls to include the carrier calling back to ask for more money. He scheduled my vehicles for pickup but when I got my receipt it said American Auto Shippers. They had charged me twice the amount I originally was quoted and paid. Mr. Asher had done exactly what he told me to watch out for but he did it using another company name. He doesn’t work directly for American Auto Shipper but they do work together….to swindle customers. I don’t recommend them at all. American Auto Shippers operate 24/7 but every time you call you speak with the same 4 employees/people if you get them to answer at all. I called them 20 straight times back to back before I got an answer. Never again will I attempt to use American Auto Shippers or Cruise control Auto Transport!!! They are CROOKS!!

It’s been over a week and I haven’t heard anything from this company at all and they also said it will take up to 4 business days and it’s been well over that and also I had multiple ppl contact me trying to get my card information and also wanted me to send pics etc. it just seems bogus and I wish I could just get a refund because I don’t like the way this business is

I am the carrier, American auto contracted me to the job, we delivered a customer's car in February 2024 and American still did't pay us. Calling and emailing them almost every week. Mark is RUDE always hang up on me. Customers and carriers please DO NOT DO ANY BUSINESS with this company!

Mike in support was rude and not a suitable person for support services!!! I called to gain more details pertaining to my shipping. He was rude and when I advise j did not like his tone he hung up on my face!! Now k have to seek for a refund and look for others services as he told me to do!

My husband and I paid over $1400 to have our F-150 pickup truck picked up in AZ and delivered to MD. We were told we would have our truck in 5-6 days. It is now 2 weeks later and we have no idea when we will be getting our truck. When you call American Auto they are incredibly rude and treat you like you are an inconvenience for them to have to deal with. They give you the drivers phone number and tell you to call the drive for answers. Our experience is that the drivers do not answer their phones or return phone calls. American Auto Shipping didn't have any answers or know where our truck was for the last 7 days. We were finally able to get one of the drivers on the phone and found out our truck was sitting in a hub in Philadelphia and it was damaged. American Auto Shipping didn't return any of our calls after we found this out. We have no idea when we will or if we will see our truck. Getting them to help you when things are going wrong is nearly impossible. I read reviews on Yelp were many others were having the same experience as us. I feel I need to let people know how we have been treated and what we are going through before they make a decision to use this company.

We ARE a transporter. American Auto Shipping. Inc. does not transport the vehicles; they call great transporters like us to transport the vehicles for them. We transported a 2021 Chevrolet Trailblazer from Oregon to Montana. Pickup was on Jan 30th to a hearing impaired lady and delivered to her with zero problems on Jan 31st 2024. We reached out to American Auto Shipping, Inc after several weeks of the payment being late and received a pity email from them. I have it if anyone would like to see it. It states: "we borrowed out too much money on credit so we have no money to pay the actual drivers who do the work" we were told April 10th we would get a partial payment and the rest the following week. This company is a bunch of liars and scammers! We received a total of one payment for $100 of the $700 they owe! It is now May 8th 2024 and American Auto Shipping, Inc is refusing to answer calls, or emails or make any further payments! Very poor business management! Their poor accounting practices are NOT our problem!

Worst experience ever! The agent hooked me up with a $500 quote and then on the day of the pickup I get blackmailed to pay $900 instead...they say there is nobody available for $500...scammers! Plus, they provide the wrong address for the drop off and the driver asks me extra $100 to drop the car at the proper address... I asked several times a refund for this damage, but the company refuses it and start blaming anything else but them... Great JOB! Please, don't do like I did...hire a professional, not these clowns

The transportation and delivery of my vehicle from California to Maine was a great experience. From booking the service to receiving the vehicle, everything went smoothly. The vehicle was delivered on time without damages even though weather was bad. Communication was outstanding with American Auto Shipping representatives, the carrier and the actual driver. I really appreciate the services and will definitely refer them to family and friends and will use them again for future transportation needs.

This is my 'go to' place and have used them several times. My latest delivery was an enclosed shipment for a Demon 170 from Waco to Las Vegas. All handled well. 5 Stars.
