Everything went wrong with my experience with this company. Charm 2.0 bed arrived at least 2 months past the stated delivery date. However, customer service was helpful and responsive throughout this time. Then, within a year of owning the bed, it broke. The support leg system holding the weight from the middle joist was a design flaw. It was clearly a design flaw given that when I attempted to have this issue resolved through their warranty vendor, they were unable to replace the part because those parts no longer exist. Since we bought the bed, it was redesigned, I’m assuming to fix this issue. I went back and forth with the warranty vendor multiple times to get this resolved. In the end, they said I was out of luck and offered a $75 gift card for a bed that is now broken that I originally paid ~$1000 for. There are more frustrating details I could share, but I think this review should serve its purpose. Valyou Furniture in my experience, is not a reputable company and should be avoided. My last hope at this point is that a company agent reaches out to fix this issue. Otherwise, this feels criminal to have a knowingly flawed product and not be willing to make things right with your customers.Review from FRANCESCA N

AFTER ORDERING A 3 AND 4 SEATERS COUCHES, I RECEIVED THE WRONG COVERS. INITIALLY THEY HAVE BEEN VERY NICE OFFERING TO SEND THE RIGHT ONES, BUT I NEEDED TO BE PATIENT, AFTER MORE THAN 1 YEAR OF WAITING (SENDING EVERY TWO MONTHS REQUEST OF UPDATESS) THEY HAVE SAID THAT THE DO NOT DO COVERS OF THE SAME SIZE OF THE MODEL I PURCHASED...WITH THE RESULT THAT I HAVE RUINED COVERS AND I CANNOT REPLACE THEM...I HAVE CALLED MARIO CAPASA (ORIGINAL MANUFACTURER AND THEY HAVE CONFIRMED THEY DO NOT DO THE COVERS FOR THAT MODEL ANYMORE...) Horrible customer service. My experience with this company has been nothing short of a nightmare since 2022. I placed an order nearly two years ago and regret ever contacting them. I waited almost a year for my sofa to be delivered, only to be told later that they would cancel the order, and I have to dispute transaction. However, I believe the company was well aware that dispute transaction impossible after 90 days. After working hard for six months to save for new furniture, this company essentially took my money. I even went to court and won, but despite the court ruling, they still refuse to return my payment. I've been emailing them repeatedly and messaging them on Instagram, but they refuse to respond. The frustration, time, and effort I’ve put into seeking justice have been immense, and yet it’s all been for nothing so far. I won’t give up, and I will continue to fight for my hard-earned money.Review from Kazi R

There should be a 0 star. Returned a sofa cover. Was charged 130 delivery fee. Refund issued as store credit. Ordered more furniture with store credit. Order cancelled for who knows what reason. Requested refund via original payment but they "cannot" issue a refund to the CC I used. All this took 7 months. Next Was told to file a fraudulent charge instead to get back my money. Filed the charge with my CC. Cc couldn't refund. After a year of going back and forth I gave up. I still don't have my money/store credit or even the item I paid for. I ordered $1500 sectional in June 2022 and it the leg got broken last month, May 2024. I tried to reach out for a help. Valyou told me they dont have the part and my warranty end last year. They told me to get a help from task rabbit service or get the part from amazon which doesn’t fit. The product is also not on their website anymore. I am so upset that the $1500 couch only last 2 years. So sad.Valyou Response

Since the product has been discontinued and the warranty has expired, it limits our ability to take further action. Horrible customer service. My brand new feather sofa arrived with the inner liner that holds the feathers and poly fill in one of the back cushions completely ripped, so the feathers are spilling out. I notified the company immediately. They informed me to file a warranty claim, which I did. After serving back and forth, the warranty department informed me that their warehouse did not have the liner in stock, and they suggested I sew it myself?! Um, excuse me, I did not just spend $1,800 to repair a couch that arrived brand new and not in compliance with their supposedly rigorous quality assurance. I pushed back and asked for a replacement; again, I was told they did not have it in stock, so they could refund me $50 and buy a new liner on Amazon. I checked Amazon, and I did not see any with the same configuration, with a compartment for the foam and one for the feathers. So I requested they replace the entire cushion, and they replied that they also had none of those in stock and could not give me an estimate on when it would be in stock. So, I hastily accepted their offer to at least credit me $50. However, the original card on which I made the purchase was compromised, so I had to close it and was issued a new card. The warranty department said they could only refund me using my original card. Since this is impossible, and they were refusing to credit a new card, I gave them the option of sending me a check, a visa gift card, or just the liner and a whole new cushion within a reasonable time. Of course, they replied that the only way they could refund me was to the original form of payment. How can this company not figure out how to credit a different card or, for god's sake, send me a check? So now I'm stuck with a ripped/defective liner - and the hope that one day, one will show up at my doorstep. I'm not holding my breath on that one. Why even have a warranty policy if you are not going to deliver?Valyou Response

We regret that the order did not meet your expectations, Jorge. This is surprising, as we wouldn’t have loyal customers if our furniture weren’t high quality or valuable. According to our records, one of our managers reached out to offer options for your concern. However, you're no longer eligible for an exchange or return because the original packaging is missing. Our product experts informed you that the issue you described is normal due to the back cushion fillings. Despite this initial assessment, we extended our help by requesting additional videos to further assess your claims, but we have not yet received anything from you. I just received my couch yesterday and it looks amazing in my living room! I have not tested it out too much yet since I just received it but I can tell the quality and the build is exceptional and super comfortable. The couch is a bit low but I will be getting different legs so I can have a bit of height. I love that it is all customizable. Service: Each representative I worked with went above and beyond before and after placing the order. They were very responsive and answered all my questions. I was hesitant to place an order because I wasn't sure how long it was going to take but I ordered on April 22 and received it on May 15! Delivery: The courier who delivered my sofa really went the extra mile. It was a bit tricky to find my apartment since one of the elevators was down but he was amazing and very friendly! From start to finish my experience has been amazing!Valyou Response

Delayed delivery with very shady communication from customer service. I was very specific about wanting to talk to someone who knew what was going on with the delays and was told I couldn’t speak with anyone else regarding the issue. It’s been 3 months and my delivery continues to be delayed. Very unhappy with this companies communication.Valyou Response
