I contacted Heiderman plumbing for the cost to fix a running toilet, and to look under my mobile home for a leak. I was told the price was $75 an hour. I was NOT told of their $60 trip fee, and their $90 material fee. When the plumber came, he was unprepared to do the job. He had to go to the store twice for parts. What normally should have been an hour job, took 2 hours. He took no more than 30 min. to look under my home. Therefore, with a competent plumber, it should have taken no more than 1.5 hours to do my job. They took off the $60 trip fee. However, when I asked to see the receipts for the parts, I was told to pay up. I would like to see the receipts for the parts. I find this company very deceptive for not disclosing all of the costs to the consumer.

I’m sorry you were dissatisfied with our service. We believe our prices are comparable to other companies in our area. We discounted our rate and even took off the trip charge as you stated. We can’t possibly have every single type of material that might be needed for a job so it’s necessary to make a trip to a supply house in order to get what is needed. I went over a second time myself to look at the work that ******* said was wrong, it was not wrong and I didn’t charge for the second visit. I also called to talk about the bill and you would not listen to me and asked me why I called, I told you that my company has a good reputation and I wanted to try and reason with you. You stated that I was only making you angry and I was a lier! I stayed calm and cordial throughout the conversation. Also, I would like to inform you that our normal rates are $100 per hour, so you already received a $25/hour discount as well as the dropped trip charge. I’m not sure what else you want me to do short of doing the job for free. At this point we made several attempts at customer satisfaction to no avail.
