I entered into an agreement with Ponce Bank to do a loan for a property. I received an Letter of Intent and acted upon it giving the bank the Good Faith ******** 4 months had passed by. the appraisal was done and all of the underwriting was done. I kept in calling ***************************** to advise when we could close and every week was "next week" I finally get a response on 02/13/23 that my appraisal came in low and this loan wasn't viable. The appraisal was done in November of ***************************************** that the loan would not be feasible. I had spoken to ******* many times in that interim and he again never came back to advise what was gong on. If he had stated that the appraisal came in low; I would have gone to another bank.Initial Complaint

We have been customers of Ponce Bank for many years and currently have business checking accounts and 2 commercial mortgages with fixed interest rates of 5%. In May 2022 we noticed our mortgage payments significantly increased and the fixed interest rates more than doubled from 5% to ****%. We immediately contacted the Bank and was told that the monthly increases "actually began in August 2021". This event resulted in the Bank automatically debiting an additional $30,000( +/-) in increased mortgage payments over a **** month period from the accounts linked to both loans, placing us in ***************** Distress. A Bank employee informed us on the phone that "someone will contact us to discuss the reason for this error". After leaving numerous voice messages with the Bank in the days to follow, we did not receive any return calls. We then reached out, via email, and finally received a response from a manager, ********************************. After several email exchanges, it was determined that the Bank was requesting our annual financial documents from the 2 entities (mortgagor) which were promptly provided accordingly. The Bank had claimed that they attempted to notify us of this matter. Unfortunately, this was a period following the height of the Pandemic and *** On Pause Executive Order. Our business operations were sadly shuttered for quite some time and communication methods had changed, therefore, we never received any requests. We explained that this oversight was a simple error due to the Bank having outdated communications and failed to reach us. We humbly requested that the enormous amount of overcharged funds be returned back, as these were obviously circumstances out of our control. The mortgage accounts were never considered to be in pre-default as the Bank automatically withdrew their mortgage payments on time, each and every month. The Banks Unwillingness to Assist Their Customers is Unacceptable, and their Below Par Business Practices are Certainly QuestionableInitial Complaint

A Stock certificate was issued for my small business company in 2008 from PONCE DE **** Risk retention company, now the company is doing business in ******** as Ponce Financial at *****************************************************. I spoke to customer service and other staff at this office to confirm but I am unable to communicate any further to anyone about the status of the stock certificate, It been couple months now, I was told some one will contact me, and I made numerous email and phone calls to be told the same info I still have the stock certificate awaiting answers. To Whom It May ********* got an overdraft fee or fees even though I brought the account back to current, which doesn't generally happen when I do that. I am looking to get that fee returned. Best,Initial Complaint

I am not liable for the debt with PONCE DE **** FEDERAL BANK. I do not have a contact with PONCE DE **** FEDERAL BANK.You guys need to handle this issue. This has been going on for a long time now that i have seen my information .That's messing my Character & name up as a person They are in violation & told me 30 days when I had fraud. A identity theft with police report had attached as well they are in major.
