After seeing Haus Party on social media, my friend booked a date for her birthday in June via Zelle for $2000. My friend decided to change venues. She was told that she could only transfer the booking to a different person and/or a different date but not get a refund. My friend transferred the booking to my name and I booked for 10/22/2022. I have since paid my friend back. I paid an additional $500 via cash app to rent out the Beyonc suite. Its a week before the date and the number the person who arranged the tour of the venue texted me on is out of service.The website is no longer active and they dont update their social media anymore. So I havent been able to get in contact with anyone on if I can have my party on that date or if I can get a refund.Initial Complaint

I send haus party using Zelle ***** April 17, 2022 and then ***** April 18, 2022 to have my party june 1. They never got back to me until later on by that time too late so I change party to my friend birthday they said no refund which they didnt say that before but change date October 22 now their phone number doesnt work and their website down.Initial Complaint

I contacted Haus Party to rent for my wedding August 2021, I sent $1,100 to them for the party with a balance of $400. Just before my event i was sent an email that my event was cancelled and that I had 1 year to use the house because there was no refunds. Fast forward to May 2022 when i was confirmed for use of the house and again just before i was informed it was cancelled when I asked why I was then informed that I was now given the original date I wanted for my wedding the year before so I agreed and have heard nothing from them since. I emailed many times to ask about the details for the day which was this past weekend August 27-28,2022 and have heard Absolutely nothing.Initial Complaint

I reached out to Haus_Party_LLC after seeing several celebrities use there space for there parties there name of social media has changed since I booked however here is the new one hauspartyvenue. I sent a message through instagram with my cell phone. I received a response back from telephone ************ asking about the weekend of 9/11, after back and forth I settled with just doing September 9th to the 10th The person name was **** then told me that someone else was looking for the same date he can only hold until 11 the next day. I asked can I see the place to see how I was going to set up and decorate I was told after I left the deposit of ******* **** then sent me a text with the Zelle information and stated any bank except ************ Zelle was to be sent to ********************************** I sent the ******* it came up ******. **** responded he received I then proceed to ask when can I see the place. I was given a date which u will see when I upload text messages. As the day got closer I text can I have the address. I was sent the address and we set up a time. Once the day came no response. To make a long story shot because you will see it in the upload. Once they took my money in May I cancelled the end of May and never received my money back. They were very unprofessional very rude once they received my money. In which you will see upload. I jus t want to report then and receive my money back after doing my research I am not the first person they have done this to. The upload is screenshot from my phone and might not be in order. However is enough proof of there abuse. And til this day I still havent received an email nor my refundCustomer response

I booked Haus Party BK at the beginning of December 2021. 500$ was paid via Zelle for a surprise party on Saturday Dec. 18th 2021. Friday Dec. 17th I reached out to owner ******** via text to confirm. She asked me about using her chef/ bar tender. I advised her that I would be using my own services. Later on that night I received an email stating that my reservation had been canceled and I would receive a full refund. I NEVER received the refund. I reached out on Instagram and was told to try contacted them via email. I have gone back and forth with someone 4 times. Each time being asked how I would want my refund. After advising that I would be looking into legal action I received an email back saying that I did not have to contact them anymore and it was being sent to their legal department. I am still waiting on my refund. This company is a scam and has also changed their Instagram name to *************.Customer response

Ive been trying to contact someone from HausParty since Thursday June 23 2022. The last message I received was on Thursday at 4:15 pm. I was trying to make changes to my reservation with hopes of paying off the rest of my balance. However Ive contacted HausParty several different times using several different means of contact, and yet and still no response. My reservation date was supposed to be August 18th and 19th. From Thursday to Tuesday I had been trying to contact literally anyone from the establishment through text, call, DM and email. No luck. It wasnt until a friend of mine told me her experience with them was exactly the same and they take your money, cancel your event and dont refund you or reschedule. On Tuesday I sent one last message telling them I wanted to cancel my party and Id like a refund and the owner responded back very rude and unprofessional. Telling me that she/he was embarrassed for me . Ive heard nothing back since, no refund and no service rendered even if they did want to continue with the party I wouldnt want to give them my business due to the lack of communication and professionalism.Initial Complaint

I paid for a reservation with Haus Party at their ******************* venue for 1/29/22. This reservation was paid in full as of 12/I0/21. I paid them a sum of $1,425 broken up into 4 payment. On 1/28/22, the day before my event I was sent a text followed by an email saying my reservation was cancelled and I was being refunded half of the money I paid. Since then I have called, emailed, texted, sent direct messages via social media and none of my correspondence has been returned. I was not offered an option to reschedule, a full refund, neither given a valid reason for cancellation. The email mentioned something about a winter storm cancellation, however the venue was occupied by another event the same weekend I was cancelled on. I was supposed to check in at 3pm on 1/29 and out by 11am on 1/30. I was promised their venue for a *** of 50 guests, and my clean-up fee waived. None of this was provided, it was cancelled unduly and without refund.Customer response

Venue was booked on or around December 10th. The even date was suppose to be 1/8/2022. A message was sent the day of the event stating the event had to be canceled and the money will be refunded in 4-7 business days. It is now 1/21/2022 and no money has been refunded. We reached out to the venue before the event and to inquire about COVID regulations and if would effect the event. They reassured me that the event will NOT be cancelled unless I cancelled it. So the venue canceling the day of was a shock. I had event planners paid and ready to set up. Chefs caterers as well which resulted in money lost.
