We went to this shop because of a continuous power drain on a relatively new high quality battery. We communicated to them on what other two other shops advised us on what the issue could be, that the battery had no issues and that a power draw had to exist or something else in the charging system. After taking the vehicle in for five minutes Mr. Honesty came back out stated it was the battery and when questioning him he said he knows so its the battery acting as if he is an automobile god possessing a lot of hubris. . We felt very highly pressured by their staff to get an unnecessary and overpriced battery($180) and to top it off they charge $77 in labor to install a battery that certain auto repair locations will do for free or at minimal costs’ total $260. Moreover while installing the battery the technician at "311 honesty" said that the battery terminals were bad and put "new terminals" on and in the process stripping the protective plastic off. "311 Honesty" kept telling us that our problem was solved. However within a few days the same problem occurred again which clearly demonstrated that the battery was not the issue. When calling back "311 honesty" we received a few inconsistencies anything but honesty; first the shop owner stated it was definitely the battery that was the problem and that his supplier could have given him a bad battery when I was not buying his lame excuse and questioned him if he did a draw test for real he said yes; than he said he heard the throttle body making a strange noise and that could be it. . I called triple *** to jump the vehicle and the technician commented that the "new terminals" looked old and the battery did not seem new to him. I took the car to the dealership service center whom did an 8 hour draw test and determined the real problem and they indicated that the battery was never the problem and the new battery was not properly installed. I would say affable people definitely not honestBusiness response

Better Business Bureau:
Please find appended to this correspondence the requested documentation. The merchant is clearly being deceitful about me "walking away with a free battery". I have attached the images of the receipt and invoice. If they do not refund my proceeds for knowingly putting in a used battery that was unnecessary and in the process damaging my battery cables, I will seek proper remedies through my legal counsel.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID 18297247, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
