Building a new summer home in ****** Bay, NY and contractor choose Accuracy Painting for entire interior painting and stairway staining and job was started on 10/10/2022. On 2/23/23, over (4) months later job was still not completed and the work they did do was atrocious to say the least. They stained the stairway with wrong stain which had to be stripped and sanded 4X to even get remotely close to original word, they would only do 2X which wasn’t enough. As to the actual painting it was a disgrace, as numerous areas weren’t even touched, numerous paint runners on all woodwork, cutting in at ceiling had wall paint into ceiling white. They were also totally unreliable as to when they showed up, sometimes weeks would pass. Needless to say on 2/23/2023 we had had enough, as when they did show up they did more damage then they corrected and we removed them from job. Now, we are correcting stairways and restraining and having to go over entire 2000 sq.ft. of painting to correct all mistakes. This company is NOT professional grade painters, and not even equal to an inexperienced homeowner. This is the first time we used what we thought were professionals and paid for it in more ways than one could imagine. If I could I would have given them zero stars as we have never been more disappointed and disgusted with a company.
