They pay the search engine companies to put their site at the top of the search to appear to be the pet chip site you were looking for. Once you get through all the registration they want to charge you. Once I figured out that I'd been duped I contacted them by phone the same day. The person on the phone said I had to handle it through email. I then emailed them the same day. The next day I got a reply saying I am in the 3 day grace period and they will issue a refund right away but it may take time to show on my credit card(a lie). After 2 weeks and nothing I emailed them back and they did not respond. Once I started a dispute with them through my credit card they then emailed me claiming they never agreed to refund me even though I have the emails from them dated well within the 3 day grace period in my inbox as proof. This is a Non customer service company!! They take your money and make up rules of why you can’t have a refund. They count a weekend, which most businesses don’t!! No stars period! They have no consideration!! Worst company ever! Rescued a dog and wasn’t given information of chip until later. Didn’t think that the shelter would microchip. I had called Peeva and signed up for life time!! That was done on Friday, July 19. I called Tuesday as soon as I found out the difference!! Per a told me to send an email which I did on July 23. The agent told me I was within the period of refund. But Peeva called me on 24th and told me they would no give me a refund and wouldn’t look at the days of transaction only the day they got back with me and counted the weekend!! $250.00 was stolen from me!!Review from Rebecca L

Smooth scam. They use a site that is similar to veterinarian. You think you are signing up for your veterinarians chip when actually it’s Peevas site. You must enter your charge card and they charge you and won’t refund the payment on nice you discover you have paid twice for service.Review from Zach D

Crooks. I found out the day after I had my pet chipped that he was registered for life through the vets office, after I had paid for a year on Peeva. I contacted ******* on that day, who said they’d look into it. I contacted Peeva when ******* didn’t respond. They said - glad you got your pet back, but it was because of us so no refund for you. Um, my pet was never lost and now they’ve double dipped on payment.Review from Marilyn D

I tried to register my new puppy with ******* per the vet's Registration Form; however, I was unable to register puppy until I paid $99.95 to Peeva. Peeva has refused to refund my money. I have been scammed by Peeva. ***** ** 04/12/2024.

We apologize that you visited our website instead of the one you intended. However, Peeva is a central pet registration database where all microchips can be enrolled. Many pet owners with microchips from other brands register their pets with our service for added protection, as we offer a suite of complimentary services and features that other companies lack. All who register their pets with our service are required to select the brand of microchip implanted in their pet during enrollment. They must also agree to our website terms and privacy policies at checkout. Peeva will not accept payment or allow a registration to proceed unless these are acknowledged and adhered to. Additionally, Peeva wants everyone to love our service, which is why we offer a 3-day grace period to cancel and receive a full refund. It is not our fault that the person filing this complaint missed our cancellation deadline.Review from Pamela K.

I tried to register my dog with ******* and it went through to Peeva. I was charged $99.95. I then did get through to ******** where I was supposed to register my dog. I tried to get back to Peeva and there were times that they hung up on me. When I did get to speak to someone they said they would send me a code to cancel. I never got the code. When I talked to someone else they gave me a phone number to call. When I called that number the woman who answered the phone was confused because she said that they are a human insurance agency. She did not know why I was given that number. I am trying to get my $99.95 refunded. I feel like I have been scammed. If this is a reputable place I should have been able to cancel this right away, but you can't get through to them. Sometimes I got a recording saying they would call me back but they never did. This company is a ripoff. I sent them an email to get my money back. I sent it the next day after I found out you could get it free but the email they had provided was wrong. So my email kept coming back so I called them and got the right email. Then they said it was after 3 days so I was not getting my refund. People need to check other places.
