Maxwell came to my house on 9/5/23 and spent about 4 hours total. He replaced my water heater, 5 valves, 5 connecters, some tubing and pumped an inch and a half of water from part of my basement. He told me the water heater itself would be about $1,000 however, he then charged me $5,400 for the work when he was done. He did not provide me an itemized invoice nor any receipts for items he purchased (invoice attached below). I believe he took advantage of me because I'm an older person who was nervous about being without hot water. When looking online at the exact water heater that was installed it is listed for $750 at **** ***** ****************************************************************************************************************************************************************/*********). Please also see the picture attached below. My daughter reached out to Maxwell to rectify this issue directly with him, he said he would come to the house to discuss and canceled the day of, everytime. She also directly asked him to refund me for the overage paid rather than having him come out and we haven't heard back from him. We spoke to other service people and they said I shouldn't have paid more than $1,800 to $2,000. This is very concerning.
