purchased several guns in March 2021, totaling to $1,850.00. at the time of the transaction he claimed his receipt machine was on the fritz and he couldnt provide documentation - instead sent a text to my cell confirming the transaction. Since then, he has come up with any excuse possible to delay me receiving my guns or money back. Im only now noticing the reviews on his google all saying the same type of situations, and excuses. now, i try and call him and his phone is now out of service.Business response

Mr ********* did in fact order 2 firearms March of 2021, he was made aware that due to the economic and political climate, that the special order could take quite some time to arrive, he agreed and stated he did not care on time frame, over the course of the next few months, he added 2 more firearms to his order, so he had 4 deposits, $650, $299, $299, $580, for a total of $1830, the firearms arrived in late fall, he came in to do the federal paperwork to pick up his orders and was delayed by the FBI NICS system, meaning he couldn't take possession of said firearms until they returned a proceed status, in NY, a delay can be 30 days, if a proceed isn't returned in that period, it is required to redo the transaction and start over, until we get a proceed status, I informed him of this and we kept trying to get it thru each month to no avail, I offered a refund numerous times to which he declined and stated he would rather wait and see if it would clear, which it never did, so on March 27th, I spoke with him and suggested he just accept a refund as it appeared it was not got going to clear anytime soon, we scheduled him to come into the shop on March 31st for his refund, which he did, and received his deposits back as we had agreed upon, as far as him stating that our receipt printer was broken, that is in fact an untruth, we do not even have a printer, all invoices are hand written on company letterhead and have been for 10 years, and as far as our phone number being disconnected, that is also an untruth, attached is a signed receipt of Mr ********* receiving his refund, and you're more than welcome to call that number on the receipt to verify such, as stated above, he was offered numerous alternatives and refunds if he wasn't willing to wait for his background check to clear, and declined each time it was offered, so I don't believe this complaint is even borderline fair and is basically borderline slanderous, I have never refused a refund to anyone if they have asked, and the offer was made to Mr ********* numerous times over the course of this, again, the receipt is attached showing all monies were returned to him, and NICS transactions were canceled, sincerely, Milt S****** ..Crown City Guns And Ammo
