Years ago, I was in the hospital and had to withdraw from a class from ************ ********* *******. The next semester, when I went to enroll, they said I withdrew too late and had to pay the past due balance, which apparently went to ConServ. I said no problem, but made sure they would agree to delete any trade lines on the credit reporting agencies, which they agreed to do. So I paid, IN FULL, and signed up for classes again. Except ConServ never removed as promised. I have sent maybe hundreds of disputes trying to remove this from my collection reporting. I have recently reached out to ************ ********* ******* and they are reaching out for me trying to get this removed. If ConServ will not remove as promised, I will have no choice but to file suit, to include damages caused by the reduction in my credit score over the years, if this is not removed. This has gone on for far too long, and its time for you to do as initially said, and remove this from my report for good. On a side note, how can a company ethically do this to students trying to further their education??

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. ConServe seems to have a standard copy and paste response, stating that per the Fair Credit Reporting Act, they are obligated to report this account. Per the FCRA, Section 623, the furnisher is also required to provide ACCURATE information to credit bureaus.  See attachments for discrepancies in said reporting.  I have disputed these marks before and they were verified as accurate, therefore you are legally required to delete the trade lines from credit reporting. Per the FCRA, I invoke my rights to receive the documentation to support your claims per Section 609.  This would include what your company did to meet section 623s requirements of proper notice of delinquency. FCRA not withstanding, its fairly easy to find examples of your company removing cases for lesser reasons.  The source of the original debt also requested you to remove these charges. In regards to your representative not telling me the line would be removed from credit reporting, this is simply not true.  This was verbally said.  Research shows this does not seem to be a one off issue either.  Out of principal of the matter (and per my FCRA rights), I will continue to fight this line until the appropriate removal of the account has been completed.  Thank you for your time.

This company has been trying to call me to collect a debt from a company I am already paying a monthly for- I have an active payment plan with (********* ****** ******) the company they are claiming to be calling for... I called ********* ****** ***** multiple times about this and ********* ****** ***** has told me Conserve should not be calling me to collect a debt that isnt valid since I already have a current payment plan set with them. the lady at ********* ****** is unsure why Conserve keeps calling me when she claims they have already been told to not contact me multiple times yet they still do! I am hoping to file a cease and desist case as well as hopefully sue them for unlawful collection of debt on a nonexistent account against me.
