Spent thousands of dollars on appliances. Delivered, had to be replaced. Replaced had to replace again. Replaced again had to come and replace a compressor. Still having issues. My wife works until 2am so I am up with her. We tell them this they say they will work with us them call saying they will be here at *****. I say he'll no we are sleeping maybe 6 hours. Will not shop here again ** purchased a frigidaire a/c which was horrible, loud I couldn't even sleep. I spoke to the store manager and my sales person and they would not accept it back because the tech that came said it was fine. I contacted my cc commpany and they negotiated selling me a replacement and I would pay the difference. The replacement is just as bad and now they will not giv eme my money back they want me to come into the store and pick out a new one. I will not do that I told them I only want a refund. I bought a ******* refrigerator with extended warranty on September 16, 2023, the refrigerator broke down one year and a month to be exact, we called the service department on Saturday, October 19, 2024 and the service department said that their repair service will be there on Thursday, October 31, 2024, which we thought would be a long time to wait, they suggested we get a loaner, which we have to pay and P.C. Richards will reimburse us once our refrigerator gets repaired or replaced. We did not want to wait that long and went to the store in ********, ******, on Sunday, October 20, 2024, where we originally purchased from. We spoke with ******* who is the general manager, he was able to bump up our date for repair to Thursday, October 24, 2024, we did get a loaner that was delivered on Tuesday, October 22, 2024, now we have two refrigerators taking up space and electricity. The repair man came on Thursday, October 24, 2024 and said it might need gas, they said it can take a week for someone else to come and put gas on it, if by putting gas still does not work, they will have to figure out if it needs any other parts or just replace it. On Friday, October 25, 2024, I called to find out if they had an estimate as to when someone would come to repair the refrigerator, according to them, there was no records showing that the repair man showed up on October 25, 2024, these people are clueless and unprofessional, every time my husband and I called, they were very clueless and seem to be no help, at the service department we spoke to ***** ******** ********** Vianka, ***** and many more, we tried to get a supervisor up to no avail and told us a supervisor will call us back, but they never did, on Saturday, October 26, 2024, the service department still did not get it together, later on that day we received a email that the part (s) required to complete the repair are expected to be received into their parts distributor around Monday, November 4, 2024.P.C. I bought a large AC and had it installed by PC Richards with the insurance that I bought for this item. It was installed on 7/17/24, on 7/18/24 I needed the serial number for this AC for insurance purposes and when I took the front grill off and saw the filter was damaged. I went to the store in Nanuet, NY, to show them the damaged filter and told them I needed a replacement, as I had purchased the insurance. They didn't have one in the store told me they would order it and have it sent to my house. After many phone calls to their managers to check the update for this filter replacement, I still don't have this item, today is 10/ 25/24...what did I pay insurance for? This is a horrible way to do business, such a simple part and I still don't have it!Review from Steven B

Incredibly disappointed, we have always purchased all of our appliances from PC Richard. Our ** refrigerator stopped worked 7 weeks ago, we have had 3 different companies visit from the insurance we purchased and it's still not fixed. So many days we have had to wait around and they still won't replace the refrigerator. Even worse they want to replace it with the same defective model, the repair people keep saying the model we have is breaking everywhere. It's only two years old! We have two kids and it's been a nightmare trying to get them to eat healthy when we just one a tiny temporary refrigerator. There is no end in sight with a 4th repair company that will be the last one before we can get this defective refrigerator replaced by same defective model. This has been an absolutely horrific experience, and we have to completely rethink how we purchase appliances. No end in sight and more lost time from work.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

I placed a large order at the *************** store on ************. A number of items did not arrive and I've been getting different answers with regards of where the items may be and who is responsible finding them. They also delivered a Miele stove with a shattered door and they claim that since the item was on sale, it is a unique items and they are not responsible for it.I have not encountered such lack of of willingness to help ever in my life.They do not take responsibility for their actions and blame it on the customer.Review from Can K

I recently purchased a washing machine from this company (order no:**********) , and during the installation, the team connected the hot and cold water lines incorrectly. They did not ask me which pipe was for hot or cold water, and made the decision on their own. This resulted in damage to some of our clothes during several wash cycles, particularly the prints on our t-shirts, which were completely ruined. I only discovered this issue after the third wash, when I realized the pipes were reversed. Correctly installing the hot and cold water hoses is one of the most basic tasks in setting up a washing machine, and I am very disappointed that this was overlooked.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

Stay away from PC Richards! I purchased a brand new ** refrigerator just about two years ago and it already has gone bad. I purchased an extended warranty through the company and the service is absolutely terrible. The cost of the fridge is $2700 including the warranty. It took a technician over a week to come and assess what was wrong with the fridge, and when they came and looked at it, I was told it needed a part with no possible timetable when repairs will happen. I am also a senior citizen who is prescribed medication that needs to be refrigerated and this is major inconvenience. At this point, I am very reluctant to do business with a company that does to prioritize customer service and sells defective merchandise.P.C. Richard & Son Inc. Response

Hi, this is Mr. ****** Im writing to you because we purchased a ******* refrigerator from PC H3234343039333636**37H and son back in July 2020 since then the refrigerator has broken down six times causing us to have to pay for additional food and pay out of our pocket for food. We lost a lot of food that spoiled. We had to buy 8 bags of ice a day to keep milk and eggs from spoiling. When we addressed this with PC H3234343039333636**37Hs and son then told them that we would like to get another refrigerator swap out and will pay more for a better refrigerator. They set up and said all we could do is have it repaired. Its been six times that refrigerator has broken down and I feel like weve been treated unfairly. We spoke to them constantly. Weve been very polite not being rude and all Im asking is that someone get in touch with them for this to address this issue of , why we cannot have this refrigerator swapped out returned or whatsoever Im not asking for money. Im asking like I said even if I have to pay more for a new refrigerator I will do that. We purchased a ****** dishwasher and warrantee on May 18, 2021. We have had repeated issues with this machine most notably leaking, which we have several pictures of and have shared with your service man. We have requested a replacement as this machine does not live up to the standard expected. We have been told that our issues do not justify a replacement. We feel that we deserve a replacement as this machine does not run properly and perhaps not safely. Below is a synopsis of the run around we have had to deal with these past few months add on to this the inconvenience of being house bound each time for several hours waiting for the service man to arrive. 1. 6/29 - cancelled service call – repairman was sick 2. 7/3 – had to order part a. noted that machine needed to be leveled. 3. 7/24 – machine is serviced a. Was not leveled. 4. Leaked again – rescheduled for repair on 8/3. 5. 8/3 – cancelled – repairman is sick – rescheduled for 8/6 6. 8/6 – cancelled – ran out of time – too late for a call 7. 8/8 – time change no notification a. Called to find out why the service man did not arrive. b. wrong ticket number was used. c. cannot guarantee service today. 8. 8/14 - called leaking again a. Door that was leveled does not close properly. 9. 8/21 - fixed door – did not have a level a. had to use one of our rulers when I saw the door was not level. b. had to order another rubber seal for the door again 10. 9/3 serviced again for leak 11. 9/14 – machine is leaking again 12. 9/15 – another call for service as of 9/22 no call back 13. 9/22 – called G&G again – I was told that the work order was closed out and I need to call PC Richards for a new work order How many times must we deal with this inconvenience and have our floor eventually ruined.
