I have never filed a business complaint against any company. I can't express how poor their customer service is and they blatantly lie about the oil delivery service date FOUR times! I asked for a supervisor three times and was told someone would get back to me. That has NOT happened. I still don't have oil and if it wasn't for the unusual hot weather I would be on empty. I will never use them again and I have no idea how these companies can get away with so much poor business practices. I had no idea until I decided to come to the BBB how many people have had similar experiences. It is so disappointing that I had to take this route. This company should have to address these complaints and be held accountable for how they treat their customers.Review from douglas n

I was billed for a part even though I have a service plan. The part is covered under the plan. They billed 272 dollars. I found the exact same part on line for 17 - 27 dollars. Seriously. Im fighting the bill now and definitely canceling my services as soon as my contract is over.Review from Mark S

Horrible. Absolutely horrible. Long time customer and their service has tanked over the past 8 years. This is the worst. Their outside call support (read as india and *****) is brutal. Promised a contractual oil delivery 3-5 days, now going on two weeks. Such a shame, stay away and shop around.Review from Barbara M

I informed Slomins not to deliver after delivery of 60 gallons in March'24 since I had a full tank as we plan to demo the house at end of year. I had a full tank and knew that would be adequate. Claiming I was on auto delivery they erroneously delivered a full tank in AUGUST saying I was on auto delivery. They listened to conversation to say I never said this. I received over 10 call asking for my business and an email. Furthermore I am in jeopardy with full tank and now must hire an extraction company despite my efforts to reach an amicable resolution Now I am informed they tagged on more fees for EARLY cancellation after they said I was on auto deliver. My termination never was put in writing as the contract states . This company is trouble and shameless. No excuse just threat to see me in court .Review from Penny M

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS. Slomins overspilled 70 plus gallons of fuel oil onto my paver patio and onto my property in September 2023. They have since been ******* me for payment of said fuel oil and threatening collections. Why would I pay for something that was never delivered but a destruction to my residence. The absolute worst!!Unfortunately, I have to give a one star rating which I would like to give a negative 100.Review from Gregory A

My parents had Slomins come to fix their air conditioner. They came on Tuesday 6/9/2024 to fix the problem it turned out being a faulty ground wire. On Thursday 6/11/2024 the air conditioner stopped working again. We called Slomins to come back to see what happen and they decide to charge again to come back and their earliest available date for return was 6/18/2024. We cancelled the service call and got another company the same evening of 6/11/2024. Well it turned out that the issue was the same wire that Slomins repaired on 6/9/2024. The repair job was bad. This company is only out to take your money they do terrible work and you should NOT do any business with them.Review from Blanca C

This is a horrible company with bad customer service. I never received service but they submitted a complaint to court never properly send me notice and the address on record is an old address that I moved away over 10 years ago. Home owner please beware this company is bad, the service is not good and the equipment never worked in my home, customer service is horrible. They dont deserve any ??Review from nancy t

they need to make zero starts an option ******** installed an inadequate alarm system in our home, one that was clearly not designed for the size of the property. Despite numerous service calls and reassurances, the system remains unreliable and ineffective. I'm now trapped in a five-year contract with a company that appears to prioritize profits over customer satisfaction. Their technicians have been unable to resolve the ongoing issues, and conversations with other ******** customers have only confirmed my suspicions about their unethical business practices. We inherited this system when we purchased the home, as the previous owners (flippers) had no real need for a functioning alarm. Had ******** been upfront about the system's limitations, we would have explored other options. I intend to pursue legal action to rectify this situation.Review from Staci S

Slomins customer service is awful and their staff is incompetent. They installed wireless system in my house without removing the old one. In turn they hooked it up and it is a fire safety hazard. The contact directly hits against the old system. They were supp to come repair it last week and changed the time to when I was at work. I told them my appt had to be after 4 and they still wont comply saying they cant. When they installed it in the first place they were s le to come at 4. Clearly they just wanted the money. Now the fire department will be fi g a complaint against them since they will not rectify the situation on my time table. Do not use ****** as they are incompetent and accommodating!
