7/2022 ****** I hired the company for renovations and paid them in full ****** dollars. The company has not completed the work and most of the work completed is low quality. The business has not met their commitment as they have promised, to complete the work. The workers were unsupervised, the work was rushed and sloppy and incomplete. The owner of the company was often rude to me and dismissive and also made appointments with me and stood me up.

We came highly recommended to take on this project by our electrician contractor that was working on the home of *********** at the time. *********** hired a contractor that didn't complete the job and we stepped in to help her out. We've explained to *********** that we wouldn't be able to deliver the high quality finishes that we usually do because we're just taking over from what the 1st contractor didn't complete. There was scattered work throughout the home that we had to complete. I've attached the sign agreement of the scope of work we were hired to do. As the project went along, *********** kept adding on additional work that was not included in our agreement. We've completed the job as per our agreement with ***********************. I don't understand why would she lie and say that the work was not completed. ************ didn't want to pay us until all work was completed and once all work was completed we had to wait 2 weeks to receive the final payment. Yes I didn't make 1 appointment that I was scheduled to meet *********** and told her we had to reschedule due to traffic I was in.

Bottom line is ************ is very bitter due to a relationship that she had with my Project manager because things wasn't working out between them, so the only way to get to him was to leave this false complaint on my business. If this was really about the work that we've done, she would've left a complaint/review after the job was completed in late July not December.

Let me know if you have any questions.

      Best,

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

I have proof and pictures in regard to the low-quality work that I was provided.  This complaint is strictly on a professional matter and has nothing to do with anything personal in nature.  This response from the company, taking it to a personal level, is further evidence of the unprofessional nature of the business owner *********************************  I made numerous complaints to ******************** during the course of the project, to which he was very aggressive and dismissive, even to the plumber who owas also working on the project, who he also was rude to and offended.  Coming toward the end of the project, I did tell ******************** that I was not satisfied with the work, and asked him to leave the job, after which he and his father, who was managing the **************** me that all the work would be completed to appropriate standards, and his father gave me a guarantee that if I paid the final payment, he himself would come to my home and complete the work.  This statement was made in July, it is now January, and he has not returned and that is why I submitted the complaint.

I did not add any additional work, ******************** had included in the contract work and cost for items that he was not providing and did not provide an accurate itemized list, which we went back and forth on throughout the whole project.

************************************* assured me high quality work and coerced me to higher his company, although I was concerned with the price, because he promised that I would receive high quality work.  Mr. ******************** was very unorganized, unprofessional, disrespectful and did not provide the appropriate oversight for the work.  He took advantage of me and even attempted to bully me by sending me numerous requests for the final payment.

I will send the photos in a follow up email.

There were plenty times that weve went over the project in detail before the agreement was signed  to proceed with the work.  We we hired to take over a project that a previous contractor didnt complete his work due to his performance and continued the project scope of work based on where the previous contractor left off so the client would be able to move in the home in a certain timeframe. I understand your concern with the finishes not being the way you e expected them, but continuing a project from an existing contractor can always have issues due to the different methods taken and quality of work from different contractors.
I'm sorry to hear that you had a negative experience with our our firm. Your feedback is important to us, and we value your opinion. We strive to provide the best possible service to all our customers, and we apologize if we fell short in meeting your expectations.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

My complaints are related to the finishing work that have nothing to do with the work of the previous contractor.  It has to do with the quality of the finishing work.  I feel like I was taken advantaged of because I am a woman and that the project was insufficiently managed.  I was also treated with disrespect and dismissed many times  by the owner of the company.
