Hired to dig and install a pool. While that work wasnt bad, I would not recommend him to anyone - and I will make sure that my story is the number one search result in ****** when people look for the pool guy in Buffalo, NY to warn others about the work and the issues. He also never finished the filter leveling, so when I had the electrician here for his part, he needed to level it and charged me $500 - This is part of the installation and Chris didnt do it - nor did he even attempt to level it, and totally ignored leveling, or putting out, the heater for the pool. He caused a lot of damage to items in my backyard - I know his contract says that hes not responsible for landscape damage and pipes under the ground, but this was an item that was sitting on the lawn about 75 feet from where he was digging - a smart sprinkler (www.*******.com) - they are almost $500 a piece. Im not looking for additional money for the smart lights he ran over which will cost me $300 to replace. After my wife say the destroyed sprinkler, she texted Chris who agreed that it was his fault that he woud pay for the replacement (Which is on sale for $350, so he makes out instead of $500). We have that text message, if it woud help to close this out. This all started two months ago and he has stopped replying to any texts or any communication in general. He is obviously trying to ignore this, hoping we will just go away. Considering we paid $16,000 for this work, him paying for a $350 spinkler shouldnt break him in any way. As you can see in the attached picctures, he was all set to pay for it and when he found out they are $360 (Cheaper on preorder right now) - He went 100% silent. He must think that we should pay for it since its so expensive rather than him, even after admitting to the issue, We would like to finally get the money for the replacment sprinkler that he promised - the $360 would be fine - I already pre-ordered it since it needs to be replaced.
