We called ******************* 6/7/2024 and he was able to schedule us an appt next day window 12-3 for dryer not working. He told us $125 was diagnostic but would be applied towards the repair. We were preparing to take our son to the hospital for a procedure so timeliness was crucial. Next day the tech, **** son called and said he would be an hour late he came at 4. Ok. He showed up in 3 mins he diagnosed igniter coils and he didnt have the part! Hed have to order it he had used his last part. I was so upset we needed to get this dryer fixed and couldnt get to a laundromat. He said $70 for the part and he would have it Monday 6/10. After we needed it fixed , we dealt with the issue and waited until Monday. ***** a rep called from a company under a different name( he has many names and locations) was nice but said they have the part and the total is $350! Since we paid $125 we would owe the difference. I started to cry this was bait and switch. She said I could talk to *** about it but he was out for another day. We were able to get the dryer fixed for much less with a different vendor. We needed to get the dryer fixed Next day I called *** the owner explained everything then he says oh we will give you the part for $70 my son made a mistake but we will do it I said we already had it fixed with all this back and forth and mixed messages in pricing. I asked him to please refund us the $125 diagnostic since the cost we were told was not the cost of $70 and we could t afford to go forward and was bait and switch. He said no way Im not refunding you $125 your problem you went with someone else. No honestly it compassion here. I just want my $125 he did us wrongCustomer response
