On July 12th, 2024, Kyle sent Henry to install new seamless gutters on my house. During the installation, I noticed daylight visible between the gutters and the house. I mentioned this to both Henry and later to Kyle, but they dismissed my concerns, insisting it wasn’t a problem. However, water is now seeping behind the gutters rather than into them. I’ve contacted Kyle a couple of times, but he shows no interest in addressing the issue.Business response

I did send my installer back to address his concerns. He looked for any potential issues to cause water to run behind the gutter. He applied more silicone for reassurance. The customer followed up with telling me to never send henry back to his property again. He didn't like that he was on his roof, but we are installing gutters, so we have to be on the roof. I asked for a video of what's happening during a rainstorm. he showed me a photo of water droplets towards the front of his gutter at the bottom. this customer never called me. I can't help someone who doesn't want to be helped. Services are a part of being a gutter company and i handle them all. but i don't keep sending my guys back someplace unless we can see what the problem is. What he showed me wasn't a problem. i never got a phone call from him just this complaint. i think he was so worried about being screwed over that he thinks he's being screwed when he's notCustomer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
Hi Kyle,
You’re correct that I didn’t call, but I did send you an email which didn’t receive a response. The issue with my gutters is challenging to capture in photos, but I’m experiencing water getting behind the gutters and dripping down the fascia board. Additionally, there’s visible daylight between the fascia board and the gutter.
From the pamphlet you provided, it seems that a piece of flashing, referred to as the "no drip strip," should be installed underneath the drip edge and over the gutter. When Henry came by, I pointed these issues out, but he didn’t address my concerns. Given that he’s the product expert, I trusted his judgment, but I’m still facing problems.
I recall you mentioning that you’d ensure my satisfaction if any issues arose, but I don’t feel that’s happening. I’m not worried about being taken advantage of; I just want the installation to meet the standards promised.

Entered a contract with Kyle H********* owner of Urban Seamless Gutters at 2421 Route 9, Malta, NY 12020 Telephone ###-###-#### on 9/26/2022 at $6000 for new gutters and micro mesh gutter guards. Installment was made on 10/18/2022 by technician Paul and his helper. Kyle asked my wife to tell Paul to stop and get full payment of a signed check and her request to leave photos of installed gutters and guards. Paul did neither and left the jobsite. On 10/19 Kyle rang doorbell asking for his check and said he would send pictures by e-mail, which never came. On the first week of November, I noticed water dripping from the gutters and then more rain and corners of gutters started to really drip heavier, water started moving mulch on the flower beds into the sidewalk. Called twice in November and left messages on company's phone with no response and my wife called again on 12/03 with no response until Kyle called 12/06 and she asked him to remove gutter helmet guards, she handed me the phone after telling her there was no warranty. Kyle told me he "didn't want to deal with my wife" and I told him he can deal with me. Then he said, "I know the problem; Paul didn't cut out holes".??? He said techs were on another job and if there was time, he would send them over but said the next day rain was forecasted, would let me know later. Later never came and today 12/14, as I was writing this complaint, I used a different phone to call several times and he responded at 3:30PM. He asked who I was and when I told him Ron at ** ****** ****** ****** and his comment was "Go f---k yourself" and hung up his phone. This is where we stand with Kyle! Contract states: "Urban Seamless Gutters will supply materials for the work and complete the work to be done in a substantial and professional manner. Non-transferable lifetimes guarantee on all work completed by Urban Seamless Gutters." Thank you for your help and I'll be getting a lawyer!Business response

we had already went over and took a look at their gutters. explained to them that the water was dripping over the front of the gutter which can happen on some heavy rains. they asked us to remove guard and refund. we explained we don't do refunds. the homeowner is making up nonsense to make us look bad because they just don't understand. there is absolutely nothing functionally wrong with the system installed. no leaks behind gutters and the gutters are not clogged. all was explained and absolutely nothing we can do..Customer response

I have attached several pictures to depict the resulting run-off from the gutters. Please note that the "001.MOV" is a video clearly showing that the gutter is leaking from the corner and not flowing through the downspout and there is no heavy rain creating this situation. I have also included documentation to demonstrate my concern with Urban Seamless Gutters LLC noting that they created a new LLC by the name of ***** ******** ****** ****** on 12/16/22, the same day that I filed a complaint with you. Mr. H******** also owns, or owned, a business by the name of ***** ******* **** which upon reading one of his reviews, mimics the use of language and actions that he aimed towards me. I believe that Mr. H******** has had no intention on following up with his faulty craftsmanship and after reading his rebuttal, this is in fact the truth. I don't truly understand his point in me opening a new business. Actually, that business is where ill be distributing my gutter guard to other companies and teaching them quality and superior sales and installation techniques to be successful like me. Also i have 0 affiliation with ***** ******* besides the fact that the owner is buying equipment from me. kind of weird that this homeowner is stalking my life and adds to my reason to not feeling comfortable to go back on his property. I feel really bad that the relationship went south because i do everything i can to take care of elderly when most companies take advantage. The water barely dripping over the edge of his gutters are simply just the rainwater that's coming from the sky. not the runoff from the roof which is what the gutters are meant to catch. i truly hope this elderly couple gets the mental health help that they need. may be time to go to home for these guys.
