First of all The pictures that are attached are not of work we completed. Second, the tile subcontractor was recommended by the interior designer not us. We were forced to use him as per the designer. Then the designer was let go in the middle of the project. The holes in the walls were made by the clients AV contractor after we had completed the final paint. The electrical issues were on the original wiring circuit not the new wiring that was installed. The client provided all the tile and plumbing fixtures. They were installed by us. "the doors" were special order with a 6 month lead time and have not arrived yet.  The client was given a $50,000 credit to redo any tile work she felt was unsatisfactory. More than enough to redo both bathrooms in their entirety. This was a mutual agreement a month ago. Not sure why they still feel the need to per-sue a complaint when we more than compensated them for any wrong doing they think they incurred.

      Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

      [Your Answer Here]

The plumbing done byt the contractor was sub par and is still causing leaks into the basement. We have had to try and repair the shower twice.  This has caused an upwards of 30k just for this one issue, and it is still not resolved as the plumbing was done wrong adn two of the shower heads dont have any water.  We gad to replace all of the wood and the shower pans as they were rotted thru within a month of use.

We now have to bring an additional plumber to deal with a second bathroom that was done by the contractor. This bathroom has major plumbing issues as well. This shower is no longer getting hot water as the installation of the handle was done incorrectly. The shower is also whistlign, and the shower head company says it was the wrong installation of the cotnractor.

The tile workers were hired by the contractor, and have nothing to do with us. The designer was fired in December and they were brought onto the job in February and March, and should have had nothing to do with the former designer.

The glass installed on both showers was installed incorrectly, as it does not fit - we have had multiple shower companies look at it ,and it was deemed cut incorreclty.

We had to hire an electrician as the contractor had his electrician use a line for the family room and tie it into a the new bathroom causing a shortage in the bathroom and the family room.

The tiles for the basement ceiling had to be replaced as so they were heavly damaged by water due to the job the contractors teams did in the bathroom.

The contractor also promised to fix all the cracks in the marble his workers made while going thru the house, this was not done as well.

The $50,000 does not cover the amoutn of plumbing, tiles anextra work and head ache that this has caused. We have now been livign in a hosue and stillc ant fully use our bathrooms. We have to replace the shower glass now and redo a second part of the shower as it is also continueing to leak.

The contractor was paid to watch over the job while we were not living there and was never there. The tile guys broke the windows, and when we asked him after the first bathroom not to let them back in he contineud to let them into our house.

The garbage cans went missing in the kitchen, and our tall ladder.

The correct thing would have been to fix it, until it was done right.

This contractor should have a warning out against him for not completing jobs.

He should have his license revoked.

To hire another contractor to re-do the whole thing would be na upward of 100K.

Please let me know if you would like additional pictures of the water damage or if you would like the statements of other professionals who came to look at his work.

Please note the designer he is referencing was ont he job from November to December for inspiration only and then was removed. She had nothing to do with hiring any of the workers.
