July 10, 2022 I order one Tactical X Drone as advertised from ****************** Order number was ******* the cost was $99.00 July 12, 2022 ******************* shipped the drone to my residence July 14, 2022 I order from another web site the manual for the tactical drone so I can read the instructions (what came with the drone was a very small print instructions)July 17, 2022 I opened the drone up and pulled one battery out along with the *** charger per the instructions.July 18, 2022 With the batter fully charged, placed batteries in the remote controller and the battery into the drone. I went to do a small test flight, and the drone would not take off. One of the propellers would not spin at all (only 3 of the 4 were working). Being experienced with remote control drones I immediately turned off the unit. I disconnected the battery from the drone and made sure no obstruction was present in the connection between the battery and drone. I reinserted the battery and attempted once again to fly the unit. The same propeller was still not functional. I next stopped, took the battery out of the drone, and packaged the unit back ** in the original packing which it came to me in. I then looked at the instruction manual for trouble issues resolution, but the manual had none.The company has refused to pay for the return of this defective item I asked for a working drone to be sent, they shipped a damaged drone that could not be used.Business response

Hello BBB,
Please review our website* ******************** All of our terms and conditions of the sale are clearly listed. I have emailed with this customer multiple times and have asked him to return the product so we can verify these claims and issue a refund. This consumer has refused to return the item to us because they do not want to pay for shipping. We do not charge our customers shipping upon order, therefore, we do not provide free shipping for a return label. This customer has gone out of their way to do everything but return our item.
If there is no return, there is no refund.Customer response

Better Business Bureau:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:If you go to the web portal for the vendor, (the same web site in which the order was placed), no where is their any reference to "PAYING FOR THE RETURN" or mention of a return policy easily found. (If needed I have a full and complete copy of the web site as posted when I purchased this item.
Not until you attempt a return are you directed to "their policy" which does not address what happens when any item is sold "damaged"
The company is attempting to "shield" their liability to take this defective item back at no cost to the customer.
Why shoudl a consumer be out money for a product purchased that does not work.
If this was a local store I would return it and the company would take it back. Other ************************ do the same
The seller however has a different view with no exact policy on who pays costs when products sold are defective.
