Bought new 2021 ford explorer may 2024. When test driving vehicle the brakes felt not right. So I said something and they said they’d fix them for us. Wrote it up in a I owe you. What they called it. We took car right away and they were going to do brakes when they had rental because they were currently out of rentals at the time. So two weeks went by. I had to call and ask what was going on. They said they still didn’t have rental. So finally they claim to have rental. Go down on work night only to find out our wonderful salesman cliff actually never set one up. So they played that game for over week. Then they finally sent rental to my home after I talked to cliffs boss. Had rental 3 weeks. They had also had scratch they owed us they were fixing too. So 3 weeks later we get my new vehicle back. Scratch is fixed but brakes still seem bad. So I call and ask if they did them. Cliffs like immediately yes. But I don’t believe him so I ask him for the work order. He then calls my boyfriend back stating that they’ve done and that’s that. No proof that they were actually done. Now we just had to lay $400 in brakes they were suppose to fix. I just think they are doing very bad business and someone’s going to get hurt for the lies!Initial Complaint

On Dec 13 2022 I was test driving a car I was thinking of purchasing. While I was pulling out of the parking lot a truck hit the car I was test driving from walleys. The police report was filed and showed how I was pulling out of the parking lot when the other vehicle did not look behind him and backed into me. Walleys told me not to worry my car would be fixed by his insurance because it was clearly his fault but if not they have insurance on all their cars for test driving, so either the car would be fixed. So I signed to buy the car.Well ********** the guy that hit me) is denying liability, and will not pay. I tried and continue to try to talk to someone at Wally’s and now they will not answer my calls. My car door is smashed in and leeks water and I’ve only made one payment.Business response

Hello *****, Regardless of how/why the vehicle in question was damaged, if we agreed to fix the vehicle, that's what we need to do. I'm not familiar with the particulars of the accident, but either our insurance company or the other drivers insurance company will be covering the claim. I purchased a 2019 ****** ******* from Wallys Ford Of Nellison, NY on Oct 31, 2022 and the finance manager said "I took the liberty of adding a vehicle service contract in". I asked how much per month is that and was told $10 or $20 per month, I accepted. After realizing it still had a factory warranty on it. I called Wallys on Nov 14, 2022 to cancel this contract and was told Dominic is not at his desk. I called every day from Nov 14 to Nov 18, 2022 and from Nov 21 to Nov 25 to talk to Dominic each time receiving an excuse ranging from his day off, big sale, cant talk, not at his desk, out to lunch, with a customer, must be out on the lot and more. On Nov 25, 2022, I called **** Protect directly to get this contract cancelled as per my contract and they obliged. Wallys charged me $3579 and refunded me $1544.40 leaving a balance of $2035 for 14 days of a service contract I tried in earnest to cancel with no reply from Dominic. Dominic was nice enough to call me on Nov 30, 2022 at 6:00 P.M, 1 hour before closing to come in and sign papers, this was not needed as **** Protect already cancelled. I was working when he called strategically too late to cancel without fees.Business response

BBB spoke to Rich at the business and the following was relayed: We are going to refund the customer as requested. The refund will be processed for the customer at the beginning of next week.Customer response
