Dear BBB,I am writing to share an negative experience with La Mer, owned by Estee Lauder, regarding two online orders I placed for the "Calming Hydration Collection," totaling over $900. These purchases were intended as gifts for my family members. However, upon receiving the packages, I was disappointed to find that the applicator for the eye concentrate, which is featured on the website as part of the collection, was missing.I have spent over an hour on the phone with four different representatives from La Mer on separate occasions, simply requesting that they send me the missing applicator. Unfortunately, the responses from their corporate representatives have been both disappointing and unhelpful. Despite my efforts, the issue remains unresolved.Additionally, the advertisement on their website is misleading and constitutes false advertising. The product I received does not match what was depicted in the online images, leading to frustration and eroding my trust in the company. Origins was having a weekend pop up on the weekend of Saturday, October 5th, 12-6PM, and Sunday, October 6th 11AM-5PM at ******************************************. When we arrived on Saturday at 5PM, they denied us and others entry, even though there was still 1hr left for the event. So they false advertised the time of the event. We left and said we were coming back tommorow, which was Sunday, we arrived around 2PM, and waited in line patiently. When we finnaly got called to come in, we walked in, and within a few minutes of taking pictures, my girlfried fell by some fake grass, that was part of the display, they made a big deal of it, and they asked us to leave.Review from Ben D

I represent a business.I called customer service, then was transferred to corporate.The lady on the phone at corporate literally laughed at me over the phone.She was rude, inconsiderate, and terrible at her job. She was being a very nasty human for no reason.I am going to stop all my business with Estee Lauder immediately, and will not be working with them or any subs in the future.Highly recommend staying far away from any partnerships with EL.Review from Johnny F

Aveda is a scam! Ordered from their website once and they stole my information and used it for other transactions from the website claiming I bought it. They have charged me hundreds of dollars using my credit card number! They keep charging me every time and they never find a solution when I call. Do not buy shampoo from Aveda or their partners they are SCAMMERSReview from Megan L

I made a purchase on MAC online, my order arrived with the item leaking foundation all over so i returned it, they told me the package was empty, i told them i returned this as i received it!!! I called several times, was told a supervisor would get back to me three different times, never once did that happen.Review from Julia P

Incompetent customer service. They still owe me $90.93. Ordered a perfume, wasnt a fan, and returned it. The return arrived at their return facility, my refund never arrived. For six straight months I talked to their customer service ***** I told them what happened, they verified that they recieved the return and that the refund was in transit. Every time I spoke with them. They even tried reissuing it. NEVER GOT IT. Three years later when I search my order number it just says the order is processing. Robbery.Review from Kristi B

I have ordered twice from Este Lauder in the past 2 years, both times the order was missing an item of over $70 value and they have refused to send. I have had to call their customer service over 8 times. The first time they tried to make it right by sending a free sample. Im reporting this as credit card fraud. They also bait and switch by offering a free item but then telling you theyre out without offering a replacement. This company is a fraud, you can see from all these reviewers how many people they have scammed. How are they still allowed to do business and steal from customers?Review from Melissa B

I ordered online from Estee Lauder and my order was supposed to be delivered by **** Ten days later I got a notification from *** that my order wasn't delivered because I wasn't home to sign for it. Estee Lauder never told me I had to be there for delivery of my order. I work during the day and can't be home to sign for it. When I called Estee Lauder customer service to request them to refund my money because I hadn't received my order, they refused. So now I don't have my order or my money. I have been shopping with Estee Lauder for over five years. In the beginning, the service was good. However, these two years, I kept getting packages with missing items, and I had to call them to get what I paid for. It's annoying.
