Back in May 2024, I completed a series of 500 audio recordings for $75 through Transperfect/DataForce (Spinel Audio Collection).Back in July, I received notification that my recordings were pending QA being done and should be completed in 15 business days. To date, I have received no further update or payment. I have made multiple attempts to contact Transperfect with no response. I'm requesting for the business to reach out and pay me the $75 for completing the project.Thank you,Customer response

Im a freelance Interpreter for TRANSPERFECT. On ****** 14th, 2024, I uploaded an invoice for services rendered in July 2024. Despite the billing process outlined by supervisors ********** and ****** *******, which states invoices uploaded by the 15th should be paid by the end of the month, no payment has been ******* has now been almost two months since the services were provided, and despite repeated follow-ups, no payment has been issued. Additionally, ********** Lezhniuk ************************************** and ****** *******(*************************************************************) have not been responsive in addressing the delay or providing the requested ****** E-Billing form to verify call logs.Alwasy providing an excuse and delayin the payment date. The ongoing lack of communication and cooperation is causing significant frustration and delay in receiving the payment that is due.Customer response

Thank you for your message, but I must address the ongoing issue. It has been over 60 days since I was last paid, and despite repeated assurances, NO PAYMENT has been issued yet. This prolonged delay is unacceptable and unprofessionaL.The interpreter will also be requesting interest on the delayed funds, as it has been withheld for more than 60 days.
I expect a clear and definitive payment date to avoid further action

I participated in a study with the company data force trans perfect and I was informed my payment of $100 would be sent to my ****** account the same day which it wasn't and I complained to the corporate headquarters and sent emails to the local people and the ************* office no replies at all now I reaching out to the BBB and hope they can resolve my complaint I am owed $100 and just want this company to keep there word I was informed it was sent to my ****** account and as of today nothing thank you ***** *****Initial Complaint

I completed a project for the company on October 25th and was told that my work would be reviewed and paid within 14 business days. It has now been 30 business days and I have not received a response or been paid. I have sent 5 emails to support and not received a response.Customer response

I completed a research study in which I recorded prompts in their app related to how I would speak to a virtual assistant. I completed my tasks on May 16 and did not receive a confirmation or any communication from the company. I just need to know when I will receive compensation or at least that my tasks were received.Business response

We are very sorry the individual had such a negative experience with delays in payment. This issue has since been resolved and the individual was paid the full amount owed to them on June 24, 2022. I signed up for a virtual recording study (Ursa Major) On April 7, 2022, and completed the assignment on April 9, 2022. However, I have not been compensated for my work. I was supposed to receive a reward via PayPal within two weeks of completing the assignment. When I contacted the company, they could not give a date of when I would actually receive my reward. Also, there has been no follow-up and I feel that there will be done in the near future. I signed a contract for this assignment with my personal information, but I feel like this was a scam. I would like for the company to contact me and notify me as to when I will receive my reward for completing the assignment.Customer response

I went to a recent study at TransPerfect on Wednesday, February 9th at 1:00pm. The study was to last approximately 1 hour. They told me that I would be getting paid in 3-5 days. I waited and never got any info on payment. I then sent them several emails to find out how and when I could expect payment. They then sent me an email stating that I would have to fill out 3 forms prior to getting paid by Check, PayPal, or a Virtual card. AND if this was my first time they would process my info and it could take an extra (*****) business days. The more I looked into this I decided to let my girlfriend take a look and she didnt think it sounded legit and that it was truly a scam. However I told my boyfriend that regardless we need to reach out to someone to get the payment that is indeed OWED to him since he DID GO, he DID complete the study AND WAS PROMISED $75.00 for his time. Not sure If we need to obtain a lawyer or not. Seems like what we should do seeing as others have had problems with the same kind of issue. I am sorry but I have been doing studies for many many years and have NEVER been asked the kind of personal information that they are requesting that they need to submit payment. Reaching out to the BBB seems to be my first step to get to get this issue resolved then a legal lawyer to help represent and resolve this matter for me. I really hate that going to my first study with this company that seemed legit is now turning into a scare and this is definitely NOT the kind of studies that I want to be involved with. Please let me know how to proceed and go after these scam artists for the payment THAT I AM OWED!Business response

I participated in a study with TransPerfect on 1/11/22 and have yet to be paid the $75 for my participation. Transperfect asked how I would like to be paid and initially I chose to be paid via bank transfer, but was told that banks transfers weren't an option so I indicated that I would like to be paid via PayPal and then was told that I would receive payment in **** business days which I found peculiar because PayPal is an instant payment platform. It is now 2/10/22 and I still have not been paid. I have had correspondence via email with no resolution. I've received a lot of conflicting and misleading information from different employees of Transperfect. I was told that my payment was sent via bank transfer, but when I initially was asked how I would like to receive compensation for my participation I was told that bank transfers weren't an option which leads to me believe that TransPerfect is disingenuous and has no intent to pay me what is owed.Business response
