I, Joshua O***** was contacted by ******** ******** & **** ***** regarding their property located at ***** ** ** ** in Davenport, NY. They had concerns with squirrels. Feb 11th- I meet, **** ******** and did an inspection of the property. Durning which I showed Mr. ******** the current entry/exit points being used by squirrels. I also did an interior inspection at that time, in which I also identified the presence of bats.Feb 12th, **** emails me and asks for the estimate as they want to proceed with the work ASAP.Feb 12th I send the estimate for work.Feb 13th **** emails me ok'ing the estimate. They ask me again to start ASAP. They expressed they would like to hire me to deal with the bat issue after the squirrel issue was dealt with. Feb 13th I set traps for the squirrels, I install a new bathroom vent and cover as detailed in my estimate.Feb 14, 15, 16, 17, 18th I go each morning, check traps, remove anything caught, replace with another baited trap in its place as necessary. Feb 18th remove the traps and close the last holes as detailed in the estimate, one behind the front gutter, on the two side collumns, the basement foundation area under the deck.Mar 11th I email **** about settling up the bill. Mar 11th I send an estimate for bat exclusionMar 30th I send an invoice to ****'s email. The invoice total was $2,187.00DATE UNKNOWN: I recieve a check for $2,000 as payment for work.101 days go past May 29th I recieve an email from **** regarding a squirrel issue in the attic again at their property. She states squirrels must have found another point of entry. She also states "we are getting a lot of work done on the house, so they are usually workmen here everyday now."May 30th I email that I would stop and see whats going on. May 31st **** emails me again thanking me, letting me know she would let me into their house remotely if needed. She again states "we have a lot of people working on the house right now. May 31st I send photos of new damage to an area behind a gutter (on a different spot from previous.)Also an area that from the ground looked like it may need attention. I told her an estimate would be similar to the previous work.May 31st **** emails me. He says  "Good evening, this was all part of original work for which I paid you $2,000 you were to eliminate the squirrels and seal openings. since this work was completed less than 3 months ago I expect you to honor your work. The house is all connected so it would not make sense to only do part. You need to came out and take care of. Or refund my money." I decided to not even email him back.June 1st reset traps June 2nd, 3rd, 4th, 5th checked traps removed anything caught, replaced with another baited trap in its place.June 5th I remove all the traps and close the newly chewed hole behind the gutter, I also got on the roof and addressed the area of concern I had shown the clients.I am aware **** & **** know I am again at their property working due to cameras on the house.July 7th I get a text message from ****, asking if I could go check the inside of the house where I had just previously trapped. She said she thought there was a squirrel now trapped in the attic. She then says there are two seperate attics that are not connected.  This is after he husband just had told me the entire house is all connected. She then tells me the "painters are at the house that week, they removed the shutters to paint. and ewww!!! check this out. "we will have to address this issue in the fall." she sends me a video of worker attempting to yank shutters off the house over and over and over again. There are bats behind the shutters This is not how shutters are supposed to be removed from a home. The video, I have. Its too long to send in an email but could be sent as a text. It illustrates an awful lotI did not respond to ****'s text. July 8th I recieve a voicemail late in the day from ****. It was less than professional. I was not happy with the way in which he expressed himself. I called back. Due to heightened emotions, I know I was not as calm as I usually would be. I let him clearly know I had in fact completed the work not once, but twice. I let him know he was the least professional person I had ever had to deal with. When I knew the conversation was going no where, and Mr. ******** was then yelling at me I terminated the phone call.  Ten minutes later I recieved another call, I let it go to voice mail. He was much calmer telling me was going to call the BBB and the states attorney ect. I did not respond. I have never had a complaint from a client, ever. I figured it was best to let it resolve of its own volution.Mr. ******** states he paid me $2,500. He paid $2,000 of a $2,187 bill...Josh O*****
