Whitehorse apartments, Yukon Oklahoma My review on **********.com was immediately removed. Obviously they skew the reviews because of the number of one star reviews and complaints. My AC hasn't worked in two years after multiple request to have it looked at. My apartment is 80 plus degrees but my electric bill is still $270. It runs non stop it just doesn't do anything. The kicker is that they overcharged me for an entire year. I just reviewed my lease and they have charged me $100 more a month than what was stated on the signed contract. Do not expect anyone to answer the phone at the office ever. If you can reach them don't expect any help at all. When you can reach someone they are hateful. They wouldn't even reset my password so I could make my rent payment, fix something? Forget it.Review from Amy F

New contract w/******** is baloney. Asked multiple times to be exempt, & told I was mid-March. Never signed ANY paperwork to consent to change. ******** sent me three e-mails since April 30th service has been changed. I also did not consent or ask for that Tenants were told one story, ******** told me truth. I lost my cable/wifi/voice package due to ******** ****** not exempting me like I was told repeatedly I was. I'm on fixed income - $900/mo. My ******** bill has gone to $160+ (from $112 - lowest cable package and wifi of 100mbps), and now I owe ******** ****** $317/mo even though I'm on Section 8 - was $255. Some woman named erin, told she's regional manager, refuses to sign exemption paperwork. Told by ******** ****** no paperwork existed - ******** says there is. I have a copy! *** ****, property manager, tried to advocate for me w/******** & suppose erin as well to get me exempt. pam has no control, only some woman named erin I'm not allowed to contact, have phone#, email. Through *** ****, erin has has offered me deal - $29.99/mo. ******** says that's breach of contract. Tenants were told don't have to switch to bulk internet til lease was due - mine is in NOVEMBER. ******** ****** switched me anyway, not signing tenant contract, even though contract says we could wait till sign 2025 lease. Do you know how many ppl here get SSI etc as only income, SNAP & Section 8? How many ppl now have wifi who have never had it installed, & now they pay $62 for something won't use Who are you to take my ******** package away, dictate my bill w/********, & take away control of my monthly budget? Exempt me, sign paperwork & I'll stop 2mo advocating for myself. THIS is why I don't like having control of my own business. Know all info ******** ****** is keeping from tenants. As well as ******** ****** not telling us what ******** says. You're lying to us, on purpose, so you get kickbacks from ********. Shame on you to create financial hardships for ppl for your own gain.Review from Jhori O

I’ve been living in Napa Valley Apartments for 3 years. I have a mouse. I also have a leak and there is a hole in my ceiling there is also mold growing. I have contacted maintenance and they have yet to fix anything. Told me that terminix would be coming for the mouse 04/27/23 Friday and no one ever showed. It is now Monday May 1st and nothing. I haven’t even been staying in my apartment because it doesn’t feel like home. I haven’t been able to sleep properly, I’m a first responder, that works night shift and I have to have sleep. Management of this company wouldn’t want to live like this so why should they allow me to do so? This is terrible.I can’t tell you the last time I’ve had my air filter changed, or an inspection properly done on my apartment. The flooring is coming up the kitchen. The water runs brown sometimes and I’m sick of this. Every time I call the office, someone has an attitude about something. Something has to be done…I will be taking extreme measures even if that means lawyering up to fight this company. No one deserves this at all. Napa Valley apartments and company do better.Review from Jade K

4 months after living at one of their locations I was offered a Job at this location to clean apartments as people moved out and this was a very brief time. Only lasted 30 days due to the fact that I never once got paid and after working for a month I knew something wasn’t right. Haley Barber, the property manager located in Chickasha, OK at Winds of Oak Ridge apartments is a complete basket case!!! I suggest the home office get more involved with their properties and audit their properties every once in a while not to mention, hire a property manager that is physically AND MENTALLY capable to manage a property. When I worked for her I heard her say several derogatory remarks about numerous people that lived on the property not to mention racist remarks!!! I feel just as guilty for hearing it and not speaking up. I could go on and on and on with different stories about this woman. One time even my boyfriend was going back-and-forth from my truck to the apartment during groceries and she literally called me down to the office just to tell me that she didn’t feel comfortable with my boyfriend on the property because he intimidated her. We lived across the parking lot lol all he did was glance at the woman. Long story short I truly feel like we got kicked out Because after I started working for her she had some type of animosity toward me for what reason I’m not sure but now I have an eviction on my record that hindered me greatly when I went to find new housing all because of a emotionally unstable person. After I got kicked out I was able to contact the labor board and received two separate checks of $1965 because she did illegally hire me and not pay me. If there’s any chance that anyone from the home office is reading this and may have any doubts about what has been said please contact me because I have all the proof and it eats me up knowing such a vindictive person is in control of people having a roof over their head. I will be sending a Copy letter in the mailReview from Sa’Mya R.

I DONT RECOMMEND ****** ****** I cant wait to move out!! Might just pay the buy out fee because this is ridiculous. I’ve been having a leak in my bath room ceiling for the past THREE WEEKS ALMOST A MONTH, and nothing has been done to fix it. Yes maintenance stopped by, left the work order paper with absolutely NOTHING on it and the feeling continued to leak, and this isn’t a leak where you can stick a towel under it, it’s a leak where you have to dump the trash can out at least three times a day, can’t even use the restroom in peace because of this problem. I’ve contact the office, left voicemails, emails and everything and still NOTHING. I will be taking this to court, Because this is a hazard!! They don’t care and it’s sad!! DO BETTER!!Review from anonymous

I have been a resident in The Colony for a few years now and this apartment complex has been known for many years to be the best and most desirable apartment living community in Lufkin, Texas. With that being said they also have the highest lease prices, until recently. There is a new apartment community across the way now, that is a little higher and of very nice. Even though the new apartments are very nice there is something about the style and comfort of the apartments here at The Colony that I prefer. *******However, lately our apartment community has been on the rapid decline with very serious problems. It seems since new management has taken over that there are much different tenants moving in that do not seem to have the same life values and standard of living. Drug paraphernalia has been showing up all over the lawn, including syringes, little baggies, beer cans etc. The pet receptacles are never emptied and have remained overflowing for months and months. I have personally emptied the receptacles myself because I got tired of looking at it. No disposable pet bags are ever replaced either. There is a plumbing issue that is exposed and has been roped off for months without repairs. It has become an eyesore. I have also been told that the manager has several of the units occupied by her family. A a Pool time at night seems to be her personal family party with the entire pool taken over and music volumes very high with no regard to other tenants. I, along with several other long time residents no longer feel that there is much to set this apartment complex apart and justify the higher lease amount. It no longer feels safe and the maintenance has declined to minimal. It is my urgent request that corporate please come pay a visit and look closely at the situations going on and maybe even talk to the tenants because I am not alone in my opinion and findings. Thank you kindly for your attention to this!Review from Shavon J

I live in Calais forest and squirrels have been in my ceiling since last year. We’ve notified the front office and have been told that everyone has this problem and it’s being resolved but I still hear squirrels in my roof everyday. Other tenants are shooting guns outside the apartments and off their balconies. There’s no lights and it’s unsafe to walk your dog at night behind my building. Maintenance does not clean the area and trash has been left for months behind my apt building. Also there’s a stench due to trash being piled at the trash can. Our rent was increased without getting any notification. We file complaints online and in person and nothing is resolved. Children play all day and night so it is not safe for people to be randomly shooting fire arms. We supposedly have courtesy officer but no one comes out to check the area when we call. I don’t feel safe at this complex and I pay enough in rent and it’s paid on time so I should have a safe and clean environment.Review from Heather B

I tried contacting the property managenet at Calais Apartments was lied to by the receptionist. The receptionist stated that Bre was not in today when yesterday she told me she would be at work. I received a phone call yesterday about an outstanding balance of $275.00. I was not aware of the balace before the call. I went to complex yesterday the receptionist said she would be in today. I finaly got a call back after call mulitiple times. She stated that Bre was not there. I asked her if she could provide me with an invoice for damages with verification that my $200.00 deposi was dedcuted from the cost of damages. She stated that she cannot do that because she doen't handle issued from former tenants but can lease apartments. I stated that she someone has to be there and why did she lie to me. Bad professionalism is the reason why I left. Before NPMA took over, Calais was a clean, smoke free place to live with professiona staff. Now weedsmokers live there with loud talking and hanging out in the complex parking lot. I told her that I will not give them any money unless I have paper work showing what I owe. They refused to help me and incapable of doing business with resonable people becaue they are not reseaonable people. I know when someone rehearsed lines and something to say because they know they are in the wrong. All I was asking for is paper work ALLL OTHER complexes in Arkansas send notifying if the former tenant owes you anything, I understand mail gets lost. All I was asking for is a copy because I didn't have and met with a nasty response, "WELL WE SENT TO YOUR HOUSE." Just disprectfull, unprofessional, trashy behavior.National Property Management Associates, Inc. Response

Thank you so much for reach out to us! We do apologize for the inconvenience you have experienced and will address customer service in our next team meeting. After doing some research, we found that the deposit you placed at move in was not reflected in the system when our company took over. We did double check your lease and found that you did have a deposit and we will be revised the deposit accounting yesterday. The charges you incurred were $200 cleaning and $75 pet deodorizer to remove pet odor from the unit. Once we apply your $200 deposit to your account, this will still leave a balance of $75 owed to the property. We have notified *** (******** ****** *******) of the revision and correction. Once you have paid the balance she will then reach out to *** to have the entire amount revised. Again, we apologize again for the inconvenience. Please let me know if there is anything else you need.Review from Morgan D

Where to begin, I was told multiple times to clock out for lunches I couldn’t actually take, I was under staffed, couldn’t go to a very important court date over CEO visits, Being forced to drive in unsafe conditions, my list goes on but at the end it’s ally their lack of moral beliefs. This is a changeable issue however, with how long they’ve been around you’d think they’d have better work culture. If your looking to work in a positive environment where you matter as a human… Just go somewhere else this corporation do not care about you.Review from Asia L

So my brother and his fiancé has been dealing with some discrimination at pine ridge crossings and I was placed in the middle of this because I let my brother drive my car until he can make some money to buy his own. My car is fully register and insured. They tow my vehicle just to pick on my brother. No reason whatsoever. Remind you all she goes all his cars because she doesn’t like them. When you try to call to complain to corporate there is no number to complain. I advise my brother to hit them with a discrimination suit because there’s a vehicle in the same parking lot with no plates and unregistered. We have pictures of that also. I am the wrong person to play with.National Property Management Associates, Inc. Response

There were 7 vehicles on property that had not moved since prior snow storm, each of those vehicles were ticketed with a notice to move or be towed. Property staff was preparing for pending winter storm and needed to plow - 5 of the vehicles were moved and the remaining 2 were towed from property per the notice left on the vehicle.
