Ordered a seat belt for my side by side. It was not the correct one. Sent back and will not refund as it is dirty( I tried to install it as their site said it is the correct one) and not in the correct bag (origanal packaging was damaged when I got it so sent it bak in a new box. Ordered the correct 400 dollars seat belt from them.Business response

We placed an order for ** **** parts, which were ordered on December 15, 2022. However, the parts arrived on January 7, 2023, which was too late for us to use. Consequently, we returned the parts on January 9, 2023, and they were delivered back to Curren RV on January 13, 2023. During this process, we had to obtain a new debit card, which resulted in a change in the card number. We have contacted both Curren RV and our bank multiple times regarding a refund, but they have informed us that they are unable to process it due to the change in the debit card number. Instead, they have offered store credit to a store that is over 14 hours away from our location, and they have refused to issue a refund check. This has been an extremely frustrating experience, as our money is being held hostage by Curren RV. We have exhausted all avenues of communication with them and our bank, yet they refuse to issue a refund check and are only offering store credit to a faraway store.SO curren please refund me a check for $155.50.The current date of review is 2/20/23 Edited 3/3/23 they sent a “ store credit refund” keep in mind this store is 14 hours away.I’m still waiting on my refund check curren,this will not be acceptable.Business response

Hello, Mr. ****** returned all items from his order. On 2/7/2023 we processed the refund but received a decline message. This decline came from his credit card. We spoke with his wife again on 2/11/2023 and attempted the refund again but also got a decline. She provided a different credit card number to try but our credit card processor will not allow that since there is no previous transaction on this card to refund. His wife called back again with their bank on the line and their bank was not able to help resolve the issue. Per our Returns & Refund policy the refund was then issued in the form of store credit since the original form of payment was not available, this is a standard practice for most merchants. Mr. ****** continues to argue that a refund via store credit is useless to him because we are 14 hours from him - his original transaction was through our website and this credit is valid for him to use on our website. Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Regards, **** ****** we had to get new cards because ours were no longer working correctly ,they are still associated in every way to the same bank information. the bank and us have had a 3 way call with the store and our bank told them there was no reason it wouldn’t work.as far as a statement from the bank I don’t see them writing something out for this when they are doing a fraud review on them as we speak.Initial Complaint

Took ****** ****** *** ***** to currens in begining of August because machine stopped running. They called accused me of never changing oil or air filter. Told me it would cost between $900.00 - 1000.00 to fix. Get a call September 8th from currwns saying it was fixed and I asked how much, they told me $2200.00 which I did not give them the ok to fix it for that much. So when I went to pay for it and pick it up and it was not fixed correctly and still isn't. I would like a partial refund and repaired correctly at no extra charge.Business response

Mr. ******* *** was brought in for a no start issue, We did an initial estimate and found the jam nut on the valve to be missing and valves to have come in contact with the piston bending the valve, We pulled the Head and found damage to the head and valves. We quoted Mr. ***** for a new head, Piston rings and valves. After install the machine would still not start. We then found the engine oil to be tar black and the air filter extremely dirty. We found the throttle body to be so dirty that it plugged sensors and injector. We called Mr. ***** and informed him of this and the extra cost for new injector sensor and cleaning the throttle body as well as an oil change , new air filter and coolant flush. Mr. ***** approved the extra work. We also told the customer about the Oil and air filter issue and he claimed it was brand new. We reiterated that the oil had a tar consistency and the air filter was clogged and had collapsed due to the amount of dirt and debris in it. We also informed Mr. ***** that because of how much dirt had gone through the engine due to the dirty air filter that a bottom end failure is possible in the future. On 8/30 Mr. ***** picked up his machine and questioned the final bill. I reminded him that we had spoken and I had gotten his approval and that there is tax on the bill which was not part of the estimates. Mr. ***** paid and I took him outside to his machine. We started it and Mr. ***** drove the machine onto his trailer. The machine was running properly. A few days later Mr. ***** called and said it was having issues again to which I told him to bring the machine back and we would get a look at it. Mr. ***** said he was not paying anything more, I told him it will not cost him anything if it is an issue within the scope of work that we had performed on his machine. Mr ***** was informed that there would be no cost for us to look at his machine and determine the problem. I told him let's get the machine here and see what we find and go from there and repeated he would not be charged if the issue was with the work we had just done. I took it it to ******* *********** in Dansville ny and had the service manager look at it because I was going ro trade it in. They said that currens had some parts in backwords.. there phone number i* ***** ********. Also currens never did offer to fix It correct, tried saying it could have been something else wrong. Also they should not have charged me 2200.00 when they quoted me 900-1000. I have since sold the machine but feel they should reimburse me half. Thanks
