I began working with "****" on July 8th about shipping my son's car back from ******** to ***********. He quoted me $500 and sent me a contract on 7-10-2024. I paid a $150 deposit. I texted with **** again on July 15th and was informed the driver would contact me 2 days before. This morning, I texted him again as pickup is tomorrow. At 8AM he responded all was good. Then at 3:21 he calls and says the truck broke down and he located another driver, but the price is now $950. This a simple bait and switch. If they had been honest about not knowing the price until it was on the "board" I would have understood but instead the sent a contract for $500, changed the price and try and keep the $150 deposit. They also want to try and charge a $200 cancellation fee on top of it all. This is bad business and theft by deception.

About May 11th, I submitted a quote request for transporting my vehicle from ****** to *****. I needed the vehicle delivered by June 21st, giving me enough time to make plans to have it delivered before I started work. On May 21st, I paid the $200 reservation fee after being quoted $700 by USA. Around June 11th, I emailed to see if there had been any updates. On June 17th, **** responds that he has a driver. I thought great, my vehicle would be here on time. When I responded, he says the guy would be there to pick up the vehicle at noon, but the price was $1500. I responded that would not work and that is not what had been quoted. **** continued to try to negotiate with me, and I feel like he made a promise that he knew he could not keep. This is a classic bait and switch deal which is illegal. Currently, this company is holding my reservation fee hostage. They still have not found a driver to deliver my vehicle. I will be home on the 1st of July and driving it myself. This company is a scam and they make promises they cannot keep to get your reservation fee and then they believe that you are desperate enough so that you will pay the higher fee. They never had a driver for the negotiated price and took my reservation fee illegally. In order to reserve a spot on a truck, there had to be a truck that had already agreed to the negotiated price. Becuase there was not, they are unable to deliver, but if I cancel, my reservation fee, is forfeited for reserving a spot on a truck that never existed. This company needs to their license revoked for fraud.

On or about 29 April 2024, I submitted for an online quote to have my 2014 Chrysler ************** shipped from *****, ** to ********, **. I received a text from United States Auto Shipping *** (****-************) with a quote of $1,000 with a $200 deposit. After agreeing and making the deposit, **** stated the driver would contact me when they are in the area on the agreed upon pickup date of Saturday 18 May 2024. On 14 May, I requested a timeframe from **** for when the driver is expected to be in my area, I was told between 2 and 4 pm. On ********************************************************* **** regarding the pickup. On Sunday 19 May, I sent **** a message stating they are in breach of the agreed upon order. After voicing my concerns, **** stated that if I cancelled the order, I would still owe the full amount of $1,000 and that I would not be getting my deposit back. I have asked for the carrier contact information but have received nothing from this business. I have called their customer service number *************) to no avail. As of 21 May 2024, there has been no effort from this business to pick up my vehicle or resolve this issue.
