Called him to remodel my bathroom. He stopped by the next day. He seemed professional and very knowledgeable about houses.we agreed upon a price and he was supposed to start two weeks from that day. Our agreement was half down and the other half after completion and during those two weeks he hounded me down for the money; several calls, texts, and emails. Even though he wasn’t starting for another 2 weeks hestill wanted the money. That should have been a red flag but I took as him being eager to start the job. He did start two weeks from that day. It was supposed to take 2 weeks. It is now 2 months from when he started and my bathroom still is not completed. He had a excuse every week as to why he couldn’t come. One week he said his wife took his phone and that’s why he was unable to come. I gave him a key thinking it would speed up the process but that didn’t work. I cleaned up the mess he would leave behind the very few times he came thinking it would speed him up but it didn’t. If I am paying you to do a service the least you can do is clean up after yourself. The service was too ghetto and unprofessional, I had to let him go. I wouldn’t recommend him to a enemy. I want half of my deposit back because he didn’t even complete half the work. All he did was remove walls, tubs, sink and toilet out of my bathroom.Business response

Half the work was done. The old wall board was removed along with the toilet, tub, and vanity In the beginning, I told the client that I was on another n job, but I could start at 5:AM. There were times that I could not gain access. I had to sometimes wait for materials, because they wanted to buy them online. After sometime you could feel the tension.we just came to the agreement that it was time to move on. There was more work done that you can't see. Plus i had to transport the drywall, tub, and toilet and miscellaneous items. Also had to return the tub for damage out the box. So, I feel like she got more than enough work for what she paid.
