Miracle Method agreed to coat my green bath tub to white. The work was performed on March 22,2024. After the coating cured I could see a A strip of the original green. The green bleed through is faint, but The green color can be seen. The owner Scott A**** came to Inspect. He told me it was a shadow. I had my tile contractor take a look. My tile guy saw what I am seeing, The faint green bleed through. I asked Mr A**** if he would Re coat The area with the green bleed through. Mr A**** refused. I ask if we could bring in a Professional Home inspector to resolve the dispute. I would pay for the inspection if I was Wrong, Miracle Method would pay, if I was right. Mr A**** refused. I am still prepared to pay 100% of the Charge, if Mr A**** Agrees to cover the green. As a compromise, I am willing to pay The cost of the home Inspector fees If Mr. A**** will agree . The fee for the inspection would be $260.Business response

Scott, the owner of Miracle Method went to the home to look at the customer's complaint of seeing color showing through and determined that there is no color showing through but was a shadow caused by the lighting in the room. The customer also had complained to our technician that he saw the original color showing through and the technician also told him at the time that it looked like that because of the lighting. We stand by that claim. Mr. **** has not paid us for the work we did. Before our technician commenced the work, Mr. **** refused to sign our terms of service noting the portion that states "Interest, late fees, processing fees, collection fees, and legal fees will be added to any past due balances. A Mechanic's Lien will be filed for any amounts owed, including interest, processing fees, collection fees, and legal fees." He finally signed it after speaking with our office. In the13 years we have been in business, we have never had anyone refuse to sign that. We have not demanded payment at this time.Customer response

We hired Miracle Method to complete refacing of countertops and a large table in addition new cabinet doors and drawers. During the estimate and contract, the worker who completed the paperwork with us explicitly told us we would not have to remove our drop in range nor the sink to have the countertops successfully resurfaced. The total job was estimated at $7,751. The work (after several delays due to poor measuring of the drawers and having to order new ones) was completed the last week in April 2022. In July we started noticing peeling of the countertop surface around the range and sink areas. I called in August and left a voice mail asking for assistance. I received a call back with voice mail from a woman who said "i'm sorry you have peeling." Since then we have made numerous phone calls to the business without getting an answer back at all. In late October my husband called and the woman who answered asked us to email photos of the peeling to the owner. We emailed the photos. We heard nothing. We called again first week in late November and did not get a call back. My husband called the first week of December and the woman stated "i'm going to talk to the owner and call you right back." That was a Wednesday. No one called us back. On the following Monday I called and the woman scheduled a visit by a worker for December 8, 2022. at 1:30 pm. No one called nor showed for that appointment. I called the office again 12/12/22 and the woman who answered took my number, stated she was going to speak with the owner and call me back, and did not call me back. Our countertops are peeling more each day, and we need them repaired.Business response

We have been in business for over 10 years and our franchise has been in business over 40 years and I am the owner of this franchise. We stand behind all the work we do and strive to correct any issues that may arise. The technician that completed the work at this home has been with our company for over 3 years and is very experienced and able to correct any legitimate issues that may arise. We apologize for any inconvenience and delay in response. The technician scheduled was ill and we should have called to reschedule. The tech spoke to you on 12/10/22 and determined it would be an easy fix however he was unable to fix that day. Once again, I apologize for the miscommunication with my staff, and we would like to take care of this for you. We called and left you a voicemail around 10 today to schedule the repair for this coming Friday 01/13/23. Please call the office. Thank you, Scott AllisCustomer response
