I reached out to this company on 11/2 - through my main contact- to cancel service for the next month and beyond. He took multiple days to reply and then directed me to someone else, putting me outside of the 30 day window to not be charged. However when I canceled through the channel he had directed me to, they confirmed the last day of service would be the end of November. They then charged me anyway in December, claiming I had not canceled in the 30 day window. I had, but the individual I cancelled with (the owner) did not share that I had reached out in time. I have gone back and forth with them many times and they are refusing to refund my money even though they provided no service in Dec. They did not even offer for service to continue during the time period in which I was going to be charged anyways as most services do when this is going to happen. Image 1322 is my initial message to the owner on 11/2, exactly 30 days before the next billing which is their requirement. The next image is the email exchange of him being officially unenrolled and confirmation of 11/28 as final date of class. The delay was caused by the owner not replying for 5 days to confirm how I had to officially submit, at which time he did not mention that I would be charged anyway. Please note: I was working through text with the owner because i had previously had to work through him for all schedule changes and the precedent had been set that I needed to clear a change with him before I could do anything else. If he had replied promptly I could have followed their policy exactly but he did not.Customer response
