09/01/2022: The first of these types of visit - they changed the ignition coil because it was misfiring but if they had done their job and dug deeper, they would've found/should've known that there was something else going on with the head gasket but all they did is change the coils - THAT NIGHT it was throwing codes left and right: $274.03 I have a video to prove it. So I had to bring it back to him to "fix it again" which was completed 10/19/22 (after being there for just about 2 MONTHS - 7 weeks): Head Gasket $3,719.21 I was on vacation until the 28th so that's when we picked it up, and 2 DAYS LATER it started throwing codes and check engine light was back on. Then in January (2023) it completely started breaking down - blowing smoke (which it's still doing) and finally broke down on the side of the road when he was driving home from work. So I called and Mike said he'd fix it at a discounted price (detailed below) YET here we are with the same issue as soon as I drove it out of the lot -- completed 3/20/24 (after being there for 2 MONTHS): Head Gasket AGAIN $4,034.61 I am able to obtain a statement from ******, my regular mechanic, saying whoever did this work messed it up and the truck needs a whole new motor (which will cost about $8,000) because after a head gasket issue the coolant can be down in the lower part of the engine, which could "drop out the bottom end."Business response

The issues brought forth have not been confirmed other than by hersay. We have offered to fix whatever needed to be fixed at no additional cost to the customer and they declined to let us make it right.Customer response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. Considering how poorly the work was done a year ago, and now again, with both times taking 2 months each, I do not wish to have any more "work" done by this business. I will only accept a refund from them. I have lost 4 months of having a vehicle, which I use for work, and am unwilling to lose another 2 months so they can "fix" the problem, let alone the cost that will ultimately be added. This range of work is obviously out of there ability. The most recent was supposed to resolve the previous issue, yet cost me $4,000, and made the vehicle even worse than when dropped off to them. The head gasket replacement has been done twice by this business, which shouldn't be needed even once, and now is irreparable and requires a whole new engine. Regards, ***** ******Business response

As stated in the last response, we will repair or replace whatever is needed to resolve the issues at no additional cost to the customer.
Vehicle left our shop in excellent running order. Had been test driven 3 to 4 times to verify this.
